Hi arrived one Sunday evening for the Grand Prix that was taking place nearby. Check in was via an iPad which told you a code for the room and all doors. (No disinfectant next to the ipad) The whole hotel was fine - basic, comfortable, clean and cheap. For what you pay, it's value for money. One thing i was a bit concerned about was the requirement (at the time) to show you were either vaccinated, tested or recovered from COVID (3Gs). Checking in on an iPad prevented people from showing this - anyone could have had it. Car park was in the shopping centre across the road - i got a discount from the hotel, which was great. Apart from that - a nice hotel.

Self-driving tour Drive from Hungary to Hallstatt, transfer in Graz, book a cheap hotel~ Hotel location: The location of the hotel is not very good. It is a certain distance from Castle Hill and the central square. After crossing the river, you can walk for about 20 minutes. Regarding parking: the hotel has an underground parking lot with sufficient parking space, 15 euros a day. After telling the front desk, it will be settled together with the room fee. You will be given a card to be collected and you can scan the code when you go out. Hotel hygiene: The hotel is relatively clean, and there are extrusion facilities, but the room is very compact, not enough to open two 28-inch suitcases Hotel facilities: Then in the morning, no one is on duty at the front desk, the hotel does not need to check out, just go straight away~ The more depressing thing is that there is no hair dryer in the room~ Since there is no one at the front desk, there is no one to borrow at the front desk.

The hotel looks new. Designed in minimalist way, cutting down costs while serving the essentials. A hostel, effectively. Located over 15 minutes away by car from the city centre, the hotel offers free carpark to attract residents. Public transport is less reliable. Breakfast is cheap (€10.5), choice is understandably little. In short, it is quiet, clean and simple.

The only thing I though I was going to like about this property was breakfast. Until food, cutlery, coffee, and hot water for tea disappeared 1,5 hours before the breakfast was supposed to end. Even after my numerous requests the water was not refilled. I was told by the employee that they were understaffed so she couldn’t do anything about it. The entire hotel is old and dirty. The walls, the doors - everything needs renovation. I had an amazing “graffiti” in my room (see picture attached). The breakfast was missing. They are indeed terribly understaffed - there was a long queue to check in and to check out. The staff did not react on my complaints in any way. Moreover room had an amazing view at disposal containers. What a thrill at 150 EUR a night 😖

We stayed at Hotel Strasser for 3 nights. This hotel is now belonging to Best Western Hotel Chains. The location was fine. The hotel and our room were super clean. Breakfast was really fine. And the most important thing was the attitude of the staff, which was outstanding! :-) Parking was also fine.

The hotel was very modern and very urban, with clean interiors, hot colors, friendly staff. I arrived very early in the morning and they gave me a room without overpriced. A bar with a wide selection of gin from all countries where this hotel chain is present is located at the reception. My room was very busy, but the windows were very isolated and it was almost nothing to feel. Excellent quality-price ratio (I paid EUR 120). The only neo: the room was quite small.
