Overall, I liked the hotel, I can recommend it. Pros: good breakfast, good location relative to the sights, high-quality room, very spacious, two tables, comfortable pillows, good air conditioning, 4 bottles of water every day. Cons: small window, no one speaks English, everything is in Chinese (air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi connection), to connect to Wi-Fi on a laptop I had to go to the reception to have the connection data entered, the hotel does not have adapters for sockets, take them with you.

The single room is compact but a little bigger than expected. However, the so called window in the room was a mere tiny virtical narrow slit that only a kitten can pass through and the view was not to be found. Wall is quite thin. My next door neighbors were making so much noise slamming the door and talking loud at 2 am 2 days in a row. So, pray you have nice neighbors for your stay.

From Sanyuanli metro station Line 2 take Exit A1 turn left to walk pass the parked motor cycles; HSBC hotel; the hotel just 5mins walk away; it takes 45mins by metro to get to the airport. The hotel is clean; the bed smells good; a compact and quiet room to rest; has bottles of water, coffee and tea. The price includes breakfast and has quite a mixed spread for stay there. The free to use washing machine is a great help. ”Champion Pizza” is just two doors away so it is very convenient to order take away when inclement weather hits Sanyuanli is just across the road and has many eateries; it is not as crowded like in other parts of Guangzhou and we can even cycle there. This is our 2nd time staying at Hanting.
