Environment: Located in Guangzhou's Pazhou business district, very convenient for business travelers. Hygiene: Meets five-star hotel hygiene standards, but didn't exceed expectations. Service: During check-in and check-out, the staff's attitude was very average, no smiles. They just kept reminding me that the minibar drinks are chargeable and asking if I consumed any. The total cost of these drinks is probably just a dozen yuan. For a room costing nearly 1,000 yuan a night, can't the hotel offer these to guests for free? It's really frustrating! Finally, after I checked out, they didn't even say "thank you." This kind of service absolutely does not meet five-star hotel standards! Summary: I will not be staying at this hotel again!

This is the most impersonal hotel I've ever stayed in. It felt like there was service, but you couldn't actually get any. The hotel looks fancy, just like that decorative bowl in the room – utterly useless. The location is remote; seriously, don't stay here unless you're attending an exhibition. The hotel's decor is incredibly crude, reminiscent of an old guesthouse. This is also the first 'five-star' hotel I've encountered that charged a deposit for the stay but still locked the mini-fridge. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The hotel room is clean and tidy. Nice scenery can also be seen from the hotel room. The breakfast buffet in the hotel is also great. Nice hotel to stay when visiting GuangZhou.

This hotel is perfect for families with kids on a city break in Guangzhou. The dining, entertainment, and recreation facilities are almost on par with a resort in Sanya, meaning you could easily spend two or three days here without even leaving the premises. Plus, with Pazhou Metro Station and the Pearl River sightseeing train right outside, getting around is also very convenient. One downside is that there are no plastic slippers in the hotel rooms, which makes it inconvenient when heading to the outdoor pool. I noticed many guests, like myself, were wearing cotton slippers to the pool, which quickly got wet and could lead to slips.

Our comfortable stay at Shangri-La began with a smooth check-in handled by Ms. Joice Yang. As it was the Mid-Autumn Festival, we received mooncakes upon arrival. Our river-view room offered a stunning vista, and we even caught a glimpse of fireworks over the Hong Kong-Macau border from our window at night. The changing rooms were spotless, and I loved the swimwear dryer, which made drying my swimsuit super quick. They also had a sauna (dry and wet), a warm-water jacuzzi, and provided rubber slippers, towels, bathrobes, hairdryers, combs, and cotton swabs. There's an indoor pool on the 4th floor and an outdoor pool on the 1st floor. The outdoor pool is divided into several sections with different depths, and you can move between them without getting out of the water. The shallow end even has an inflatable slide and occasional bubbles, which the kids absolutely loved. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back!!!

Had a fantastic trip to Guangzhou! The Shangri-La Hotel was super comfortable, convenient for getting around, and a peaceful oasis away from the city's hustle and bustle. The views of Canton Tower and the Pearl River night scenery were absolutely amazing! Breakfast was rich and varied, with plenty of Guangzhou specialties to enjoy. Highly recommend booking a stay here!

The bellboy brought our luggage to the room, which was spacious and clean. The bedding was comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent. The hotel pool was fantastic; my kids enjoyed swimming there for two nights straight. Breakfast was great, and children get half off! We'd definitely consider staying here again next time we're in Meicheng.

Our hotel was excellent. It was very clean. The amenities, including the fitness room, were excellent. There was also a cute lion dance exhibit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was conveniently located nearby a metro station. Would definitely stay at this location again. Would highly recommend it to other guests.

The Shangri-La Hotel Guangzhou is superb, with a beautiful environment and attentive service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is exquisite. The meals are delicious and varied, with a wide selection for breakfast. The facilities are comprehensive and modern. I had a very satisfying stay.

The location is convenient, about a ten-minute taxi ride from the city center. The rooms and facilities are very new, and the outdoor pool is a major highlight – a must-visit in the summer. Ms. Astrid Wu's service was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel is fantastic; they even provided fruit and mooncakes.

The room facilities were perfect, but the shower door wasn't sealed properly, causing water to leak out. The breakfast selection at the coffee shop was decent, but the food quality could use some improvement. On the other hand, the Summer Palace Chinese restaurant was excellent! Definitely Michelin-level! The lobby bar was spacious and wonderfully quiet. Free parking was also very smooth. Worth another visit.

Slow check in process. The rest is okay. Hotel is abit run down.

The Summer Fun Camp was fantastic! The kids had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave. The front desk staff provided warm and attentive service – a special shout-out to Jacky, Lena, Mandy, and Ella! This truly lives up to its 5-star hotel reputation. Highly recommend! 👍
