The hotel I stayed at in Guangzhou this time was such a pleasant surprise! Its location in Yuexiu Old Town is perfect; Beijing Road Pedestrian Street is just a 10-minute stroll away, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Plus, you get to soak in the authentic local vibe of old Guangzhou, which has much more character than staying in the new district. The service was absolutely impeccable. From check-in to any daily needs, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. They answered all our questions and even proactively offered to help with luggage, treating us like friends. What surprised me most was the value for money. Given its excellent location and amenities, the price was incredibly affordable, completely exceeding my expectations. The breakfast also deserves a special mention. The selection was incredibly rich and varied, offering everything from Chinese congee, noodles, and pastries to Western bread and coffee. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted delicious. Starting the day with such a satisfying meal gave us energy for a full day of exploring. Next time I visit Guangzhou, I'll definitely choose this place again!

Service is superb, very accommodating to your needs. Helpful to guide us around and book taxi for 5 pax of us. Hotel also provides almost all day buffet for guest including breakfast and dinner/supper which is a plus point if you are too tired to walk around already. Highly recommend!

We booked this hotel for our two-day family trip to Guangzhou during our break, primarily for its convenient location near attractions around Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. It was really easy to visit places like Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Dafo Temple from here. From the moment we checked in, the service was excellent. The staff were very thoughtful, arranging our rooms perfectly to suit our family's needs. While each room typically includes two breakfasts, they kindly provided an extra one for our child. The room's bedding was incredibly soft, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the taste was quite satisfactory. Overall, this trip was a wonderful experience.

Nice hotel, although the rooms are a bit small. Breakfast is great. There’s congee for a late night snack.

This place is a 10/10 for a 5 days leisure trip with my friends. Will highly recommend it to our family and friends going to Guangzhou.

The distance to the subway is 940 meters. My room had no window and it wasn't livable at all The staff in the front desk are very friendly

First impression was not so good due to surroundings. However, the stay turned out to very good. It is a busy street outside, so rooms without windows make sense. STaffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nothing fancy but the selections were enough. The location is EXCELLENT Had a great stay

Very nice place. Very clean and breakfast was delicious. Located in a residential area but close to the centre. The area definitely has an authentic feel. I would recommend this place to a foreigner looking for a cheap and comfortable experience.

CityNote is at a very convenient location. The rooms are clean and spacious. I was impressed with their check-in / check-out process. The staffs were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in the consider old building, sharing with other resident, from 1st floor to 4th floor is the hotel. Expected by the old style of the elevator. The service of breakfast from 8am to 12pm and supper from 8pm to 12mn is an extra. The amenities is okay, and daily room cleaning service, but the room is smell of cigaret and the air ventilation is bad as it smell with the cigaret. The location is okay for convenience store beside of the building, bakery and simcard store just infront across the road, but the distance between the metro is very far, u need to walk around 1km? Before reach and also passby the traffic light. There is a small refrigerator inside the room despite i booked the most cheapest room, very small but it still okay. The iron board, mini gym and laundry is at 4th floor, u need to dry up at least twice before it reach half dry. 1st round of dryer was not enough, extra dry need to wait at least extra 2 hours, and the washing machine provided was only 2 so u need to go by luck whether there is other people is still using or not.
