Guangzhou Haizhu District Hotels

The room was okay and looked like the photos online. However, there was a strong smoke smell when we first entered, which was quite unpleasant. The location wasn’t great — there’s construction going on nearby, and we had to walk out to the main road just to catch a cab. Since we cab everywhere we go, this was a bit of a taboo for us. It also rained during our entire 3-day stay, which made things even more inconvenient. On the first day, we almost had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs because we didn’t have a security card to access the lift. Thankfully, the hotel staff were helpful when we called — they came to fetch us and brought us in through another entrance using their card. Appreciate the assistance, but overall, the experience could have been better.

Initially I booked the fifth floor. When I checked in, the lady at the front desk said that the fifth floor was a chess and card room and would be a bit noisy, so she upgraded me to the tenth floor. The environment was better than expected, and it was not noisy on the high floor. Although it was close to the road, it was not noisy when I slept at night. Before staying at this hotel, I had seen many hotel environments and read many reviews that were not very good, but this one was okay overall. I originally planned to stay only one night, but later extended it for another night because I was too lazy to go to other areas and was worried about encountering bad ones. It happened to be the Qingming Festival when I came to Guangzhou from Shenzhen to play. The convenience nearby is okay. It is about 400 to 500 meters walk from the subway, and it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to take the subway to nearby attractions. If I come again next time, I will consider staying again.

If you are going to the Canton Fair this hotel is great! They have transportation to the fair free of charge. Leaves during two times in the morning and come back at closing time. The staff is super friendly and can communicate well in English. Every time we came back from the fair they were welcoming us with and afternoon snack with pastries, fruit and drinks. Every time at the reception they offered bottled water to take with us too. The cleaning staff also very friendly and when they saw me carrying two big suitcases they quickly offered help to carry them into the room. Breakfast has both Chinese and foreign options and noodles cooked in the moment. Rooms tidy and clean. I find that the knl6 thing missing would be a desk that I could work comfortably. But there was a small table and sofa. I was on floor 7th and had a view to the canton tower, and some locals families

I got the room without windows. The hotel is by the river. If youre up for morning runs or evening walks, this hotel is perfect. Its a walk away from bus stops. But not really around establishments. Location is just fine, but not the best.

I stayed at this hotel for a total 5 nights of as a part of a 12 day journey in southern China. The location is easily acessible by metro line 2, which is about 30- 40 minutes away from Guangzhou south railway station (5rmb) - if your arriving with high speed railway from other parts of mainland china or Hongkong. Getting to and from Baiyun airport (8rmb) was easy and efficient and took about 40-60minutes. The room var impressively spacious, neat and clean, compared to northern european standards. And the staff was very welcoming - whatever issue you had - they were keen to help - such as acessing room wifi without a chinese phone number. Language barriers were no problem as the staff are quick and flexible with the use of AI translators. The little street by the canal has a calm and quiet vibe to it at night local shops, and there was one guy selling amazing grilled skewers past 22:00 /10pm. A great place to rest, and not far from what else that Guangzhou has to offer. I had such a good impression that I chose to return on my final night in Guangzhou before departing from China.

I had a great stay in this hotel where the room was clean and new. More importantly, the location was superb as it was so close to Guangzhou tower. It's great for those who are first time in Guangzhou since it's also accessible to many other places either via subway or short trip with taxi. Will definitely come back again

I really chose the right hotel this time. I am most satisfied with its location. Although it takes 27 minutes to walk to Guangzhou Tower, there are many fast food restaurants and 711 downstairs, including McDonald's, KFC, and many delicious breakfast restaurants. You can see Guangzhou Tower directly from the hotel elevator and downstairs. The hotel is very new and clean, and the service is very considerate. I stayed in the hotel with two children and each child was given a toothbrush and slippers. The twin rooms can be put together to become a large double room. The projector is also very large, and the children can watch cartoons first-class. I am most satisfied with the hotel I chose this time. I really give this hotel 100 points! !

The bedding is clean and hygienic, and it is very comfortable to sleep on, allowing me to get a good rest during my trip. Although the hotel facilities are not as complete as those of luxury hotels, they have the basic ones and can be used normally. For this price, it is really good value for money. The location of the hotel is also relatively good. It is not far from the scenic spot and the commercial street. It can be reached on foot, which is very convenient. The attitude of the hotel service staff is also very good. They always greet me enthusiastically and solve any problems in time. This time, they didn't reserve the room I wanted, but compared to the last unpleasant experience, this time was much better. Even though the room was smaller than last time, there was no space for a wardrobe, and the hangers were only placed on the wall, the waiter's attitude made me feel comfortable, and he also explained the reasonable reason for not reserving a room. The hotel sent an apology package and breakfast as an apology. I will continue to book.

I had an excellent stay with LingyueReaidence from beginning to end, and since everything is very new, it feels like the rooms have hardly been used before. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the stay and offered help with laundry and directions. The room was also comfortable and quiet.
