Perfect stay! There are beautiful mountains around the hotel and you can enjoy the view at the balcony. Just minor cons are that there is no restaurant or shop close to the hotel. And Guilin’s downtown is around 20min ride. But near the hotel there is a must see park. The view is fantastic and there is a convenience store and restaurant. Hotel provides free transfer there and back. The receptionists at the hotel are very welcoming. Many thanks to the woman who speaks English! She helped me a lot with my taobao orders! I left Yangshuo in the afternoon and was originally going to Xingping Ancient Town with a 20 RMB background. I booked a room when I got off the highway. When I got there and communicated with the boss, I realized that we had gone to the wrong place and went to the Lijiang Scenic Area. The boss was very honest and said that if we wanted to leave, we could cancel the order and rush to Xingping Ancient Town at night. Later, because we were tired after a day of running and didn't want to drive, we decided to stay for one night before leaving. The boss helped us change the twin room to a river view room on the second floor with a better location for free. The room was clean and hygienic, and there was a balcony. You can see the river view when you open the curtains. It was very quiet to sleep at night, and the bedding was very comfortable. It was the best night's sleep this time. In the morning, the aunt cooked local specialty rice noodles for breakfast. The bamboo shoots and soup base were all made by herself, which were delicious.
