Choosing the Past & Present Hotel for my Yangshuo trip was absolutely the right decision! It's right by the Yulong River, so when you open the window, you're greeted by mountains and flowing water, with bamboo rafts drifting past – it's like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an incredible view. The bedding was soft, the toiletries smelled lovely, and the Dyson hairdryer was a definite plus. The housekeeper was attentive and always available when needed, without being intrusive. The breakfast was varied and delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles. In the evening, they even offer a complimentary sweet soup. The infinity pool and large lawn are perfect for photos. The location is both quiet and convenient, with free parking. My entire stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo. Highly recommend!

A heartfelt recommendation for anyone visiting Yangshuo! This hotel is perfectly situated along the Yulong River within the Ten-Mile Gallery, and its overall environment is simply impeccable. Open your window to an endless view of karst peaks, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The courtyard boasts lush greenery, and there's a viewing terrace and a swimming pool. Every corner offers a picturesque spot for photos. Unlike the bustling West Street, this entire space is tranquil and therapeutic. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep. The in-room amenities are comprehensive, with a smart home system and TOTO brand bathroom fixtures, providing a wonderful living experience. If you're looking to relax, unwind, and escape the city noise, this is the perfect place. Its location is another huge plus, making getting around incredibly convenient. You can rent an electric scooter right outside to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery, and the Yulong River bamboo rafting dock is within walking distance. Attractions like the Big Banyan Tree, Moon Hill, Ruyi Peak, Silver Cave, and Impression Sanjie Liu, as well as West Street, are all just a short drive away. For those driving, there are EV charging stations and free parking spaces, making both cycling and driving stress-free and simplifying your travel itinerary.

This villa is absolutely amazing, the entire design is just my style. There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier. I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience! And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!

Staying at the Versailles Hotel for my trip to Guilin was a great choice! The location is absolutely perfect, really close to the train station, and it was super easy to get taxis to all the attractions. Plus, there are tons of restaurants and shops right around the hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the front desk staff were quick and helpful with check-in. My room was meticulously cleaned, the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the high-floor view was lovely. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and the freshly made Guilin rice noodles were authentically delicious. They even have a self-service laundry room and a large parking lot. Overall, it's excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guilin!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They regularly checked if we needed anything and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was extensive, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food to choose from every morning. One of the highlights was the spa. We enjoyed a traditional Thai massage on two consecutive days because it was simply that good! We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s laundry service. The lovely lady who took care of our laundry did an amazing job, and everything was perfectly clean, fresh, and dry the very next day. Her kindness and dedication really stood out. The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Rong Lake, practically part of the city park. The stunning lake and mountain scenery are right before your eyes. The hotel itself is a classic Republican-era building, exuding a sense of history and cherished memories, like a quiet, wise elder full of stories. Our room even had a balcony, and sitting there sipping tea while gazing at Rong Lake below truly felt like escaping the hustle and bustle, bringing a sense of calm. The hotel also kindly provided coffee vouchers, which helped pass the time while waiting for our flight.

The most comfortable and pleasant night we spent in Yangshuo! The room decor is simple yet elegant, and the whole place is clean and tidy. The private river-view balcony offers a spectacular view directly overlooking the picturesque Li River scenery. The guesthouse's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and shopping. It's far enough from the hustle and bustle of West Street, so it's exceptionally quiet and peaceful at night. The soundproofing is great, ensuring a sound and relaxing sleep. Our stay was absolutely perfect, and the value for money is outstanding. This will be my top choice for Yangshuo, and I'll definitely be back for my next trip!
