Longtown Mountain and River Resort Hotel was a delightful surprise! The hotel directly faces the majestic karst peaks, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, allowing you to admire the scenery at any time. The Sky Mirror on the top floor and the outdoor pool boast outstanding views, and the environment is serene and peaceful. The hotel's service is meticulous and thoughtful. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options, and the local rice noodles were authentic and delicious – I had several bowls! The afternoon tea and complimentary 'goodnight noodles' were a warm touch. The accompanying children's amusement park is also very engaging; kids don't need to venture far, they can immerse themselves in the Guilin mountains and rivers right at the hotel. It made for a fantastic vacation experience.

Everything was perfect: the environment, the service, and the food! On the afternoon of our check-in, we visited Jiuxian Village and Fuli Bridge. Before heading back, we pre-ordered beer fish and bitter melon with preserved egg soup from the hotel and specified our dining time. When we returned, the hot meal was already laid out on the table, and we instantly felt right at home.

Beautiful family owned hotel. The views from our room were stunning, it was super clean and ordered. Everyone in the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, they gave us tips to plan our visits, they suggest landmarks and attractions based on our preferences, they helped us order food and even a swimsuit, and to book our didis. They also gave us ‘afternoon tea’ with waffles, fresh fruit and mango juice. It was a truly wonderful stay. We would love to come back someday! Thank you!

A truly healing hotel. The environment is absolutely stunning; open the window and you're greeted by picturesque mountains, rivers, and fields. The service is gentle and warm, making you feel very comfortable. I tried the head spa and Zen meditation, and the techniques were professional; I felt completely relaxed afterward. The breakfast is light and healthy, fitting the overall peaceful vibe. The only minor downside is its location within the scenic area, meaning you have to return a bit earlier in the evening, but this also contributes to the tranquility. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it's perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

What can I say.... AMAZING!! We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed both nights!! From when we first check in, the lady who checked us in, helped us with our suitcase and they are big one too! (note there is no elevator). To the lady that work at night and cook our yummy breakfast in the morning, thank you! We are both vegetarian, so she was always checking to make sure we can eat it. She was super friendly, talk to us and tell us what is nice to explore/play, and make sure we have enough food to eat! On the last day when we have to check out early as we have to catch the Li River Cruise, she make sure we have food to eat and that we can bring on the boat to eat as well. She was very thoughtful! The location is over the bridge about a 10 mins walk to ZhengYang Pedestrian Street. I prefer here as it more quieter rather than on the main street. Furthermore, it not that far, with only a 10 mins walk along the river and you will reach most places. I also loved the decor in the hotel as well, it has everything you need. They provided free snack, and we did try some too!! Good to try local snacks which we did end up buying when we saw it lol. You could also go up to the roof top, which will provide a 360 view, especially the view looking out to the Li River on a nice fine day is so worth it! Lastly, my mum left some of her belonging in the hotel and forgot to pack when we check out. They courier this to our next hotel in Yangshou, which is very thoughtful of them. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay here.

I stayed in a twin room, and overall it was decent. One of the beds was right next to the door, but it wasn't noisy at night. There were quite a few mosquitoes, and even though the hotel provided an electric mosquito repellent, it wasn't very effective, so it's best to bring your own insect repellent. The only downside was the open-plan bathroom, which felt a bit too exposed. You definitely need to close the door when showering, otherwise, it feels like you're going to flood the place. The hotel is right next to the old street downstairs, and they offer meals. Breakfast is free, but other meals are charged. This is my personal experience, for your reference.

Overall, the experience was excellent, exceeding my expectations. The hotel environment was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors in the corridors and public areas, which made me feel very safe. The room was spacious enough, with simple and elegant decor. The bed was just the right firmness, and the pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless, with all necessary toiletries provided, and hot water was readily available. The front desk staff were warm and polite, patiently answering any questions and responding quickly. The location is excellent, with a bus stop right outside and many shopping areas nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. The price-performance ratio is very high compared to similar hotels. My stay was very comfortable, and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language. Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

Great location, close to West Street, making it convenient for getting around. They have a self-service washing machine, which is perfect for travelers to do laundry. The room was cleaned well. A minor point: Being next to the street, you can occasionally hear pedestrians, so if you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing earplugs. Overall, the value for money is decent, suitable for a short trip.
