Romantic Hotels in Guilin

Everyone at the hotel was so helpful before and during the trip. They answered all of my many questions very quickly. Sunny, Seven and all the staff at the hotel were excellent - I wish I had all of their names to thank them. We had the room with the pool which was a perfect way to cool down after hot days. All the amenities were excellent including the shuttle. It was a welcome surprise to meet and play with the resident kitties - a highlight! Of course I need to mention the landscape and the hotel’s unobstructed floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows - such a plus to not have anything blocking the incredible views. The hotel also offers complimentary travel photography sessions; trying on Miao ethnic attire and the direction from the excellent photographer made for stunning photos. This trip to Yangshuo was truly delightful.

I visited during the off-peak season, and the hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the cruise pier, making it convenient to get to West Street. The river view room really won me over, and there's also a viewing terrace upstairs. The service was great; the front desk and restaurant staff were very polite and thoughtful. The hardware facilities are far superior to chain hotels – the lighting control, power outlets, sofa, and bedside tables are all very thoughtfully designed. The only minor thing is that the cruise boats on the river might sound their horns; I heard it twice in the morning, but it was still acceptable. I'd give it a 4.5-star rating to encourage them! 😁 Overall, I highly recommend this place and will choose to stay here again on my next visit.

We spent a few days in Yangshuo with our kids, and choosing Yu Yuan Jing She (遇源景舍) was an excellent decision. The hotel's location is perfect, right near the Yulong River, making it super convenient to get to places like the Ten-Mile Gallery, West Street, and Ruyi Peak without having to rush around every day. The kids absolutely loved the hotel activities – watching the cormorant fishing show in the morning, craft-making in the afternoon, and feeding animals at the pet park. The free cotton candy was a delightful surprise too! The room was very spacious, ideal for a family, and with the window open, you get stunning views of the Yangshuo landscape – it was incredibly relaxing just to sit and enjoy the scenery from the room. We'll definitely choose this place again when we bring my parents and the kids back to Yangshuo.

Amazing hotel with brilliant staff. The view surrounding the hotel is breathtaking. The hotel has everything (including big garden and swimming pool) and provides a 24 hour butler service via Wechat which meant someone was always answering our questions within seconds. They helped arranging food delivery into our room, booking attractions, arranging a driver to take us to Yangshuo (for free in a big air conditioned car), arranging room cleaning time when it's most convinient for us, and so much more. Thank you Kaysen and Mayling! The room was spacious with a big round bed (which turns 360 degrees and very comfortable) and a big bathtub overlooking the beautiful karst mountains. There was also a seperate big shower room, with excellent water pressure. The room and bathrooms are equipped with everything you need. The hotel provided free fruits, water to our room every day and filled up the minibar for free. We also received free afternoon tea (tea, coffee, cakes, fruits, nuts etc) each afternoon. They have also incuded a free professional photo shoot which I loved. We also received an evening dessert delivered into our room to taste the local flavours. The breakfast had great variety, excellent coffee and tea, everything I wanted and more, while enjoying the view from the restaurant. The breakfast, the lunch and dinner were all delicious so we kept having all our meals at the hotel (ordering the food several times to our room which was very convenient). They have free laundry service which can be done all by the hotel or by self service, based on the guest's requirement. I highly recommend the place.

This hotel is perfect for family trips and just chilling out – the experience was fantastic! The hotel environment far exceeded our expectations, tucked away in the mountains. Every photo we took felt like a professional shot. There's an infinity pool, forest hot springs, and so many scenic spots on the hillside, we couldn't stop taking pictures all day. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was delicious, and during leisure time, we could enjoy tea and mountain views, far from the crowds. It's a top choice for a relaxing getaway with friends. Highly recommended!

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They reached out to us before the trip and helped to book transport from the train station to the hotel. Xiao Yun (小芸) from cust service even helped us secure tickets at discounted rate for the performance 'Impressions Liu San Jie'! The room is clean and well maintained, there is even a clothes drying rack in the balcony for those who wish to do their laundry. Overall experience was pleasant and the views from the hotel was spectacular. Not to mention close proximity to the Romance Park that is pack full of performances and activities. I left a jacket behind and Xiao Yun immediately contacted me and had it couriered to my next destination. Thumbs up to the great service!

A truly healing hotel. The environment is absolutely stunning; open the window and you're greeted by picturesque mountains, rivers, and fields. The service is gentle and warm, making you feel very comfortable. I tried the head spa and Zen meditation, and the techniques were professional; I felt completely relaxed afterward. The breakfast is light and healthy, fitting the overall peaceful vibe. The only minor downside is its location within the scenic area, meaning you have to return a bit earlier in the evening, but this also contributes to the tranquility. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it's perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Huge thanks to the Shangri-La Hotel for helping my father retrieve his lost sunglasses! They were a very precious gift. The hotel staff immediately acted upon receiving our message and arranged a search. I imagine a lot of resources were involved; my colleague mentioned they searched for at least two hours. Initially, we thought they were left in the restaurant, and Manager Wang Zhenshan from the restaurant tirelessly helped us search. Front Office Manager Luo Hongping and Concierge staff Wang Jun and Fang Weilin were also incredibly proactive in their search. Finally, the glasses were found by the housekeeping department, and I'm very grateful to the housekeeping lady for her diligent and responsible work. I will definitely choose Shangri-La for future trips. I'm a loyal fan! Staying with a big brand like this is both reassuring and safe, and the breakfast is also incredibly rich.

Upon entering the room, there was a fresh, pleasant aroma, and the cleanliness was impeccable. 2. **Location (Superb):** This hotel is right next to West Street and the Li River. You're just a few dozen meters from the pedestrian street, truly offering a 'quiet retreat in a bustling area.' It was completely peaceful. 3. **Views & Design:** The lobby has a very stylish design, perfect for photos. From the rooftop terrace, you can watch the sunrise and enjoy the scenery (it's supposedly the tallest building on West Street). 4. **Service & Experience:** The front desk staff, particularly the attendant/concierge, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively shared detailed tips for dining, entertainment, and activities, and even assisted with arranging an electric scooter rental. The overall experience was excellent.

The room was very clean, and the twin room was quite spacious, not feeling cramped at all. Opening the window, we could see the lush greenery in the courtyard, which was incredibly serene. It was also very quiet at night, ensuring a good sleep. The best part was that a 'must-try' restaurant was right next door, making dining super convenient, and the food was authentic! The location is great, making it easy to get anywhere, and the service was good too. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it!
