HOTEL HLB

Amazing

New hotel that is in the same building as Hyatt Place. Same facilities, similar room, but cheaper. There is a little kitchen, but the cooking top is not working, and there is no dishes or pots, not even a spoon. So I find this a bit misleading. The only thing is a big fridge with freezer. Big TV but I couldn't figure out the remote controller and for me was completely useless. Breakfast is OK, but everyday exactly the same.

A excellent location with Exit 6 of subway to avoid stairs and only walk 2 minutes to go to the Hotel. Besides it is easy and nearby many attractions such as BIFF, Jagalchi fish market, Buoyeong Kkangtong market and so forth. Therefore, it is convenient for you dinning out with numerous choices around. The hotel room is spacious, cozy and cleanliness. The reception front desk staff are very polite, sincere and professional. The overall experience is wonderful and fanastic. However, one point that even we only take a shower with extra care and sure not splash water out. The water comes up around the gutter and leaking there so we need to put many towels on the floor to avoid slippery floor.

Overall, the room was convenient and well-equipped, and the cleanliness was good. The location was also super convenient. My only minor complaint is that the duvet felt a bit too thick. Check-in is officially at 3 PM. I was feeling unwell the day I arrived and asked the front desk if I could check in early, but was denied. I ended up paying for half a day to get in earlier. For check-out, they asked for 11 AM, and when I called to request a 30-minute extension, they readily agreed, which was a good point. It would have been an even better experience if the service had been a bit more flexible and accommodating.

The room was great, very comfortable, and fully equipped. However, I only stayed for one day and didn't get to properly familiarize myself with the place or try any of the entertainment facilities, which was a real shame. I think the experience would be much better if I stayed for a week. As a Chinese person with limited English and a bit of social anxiety, I didn't take advantage of some of the conveniences for interacting with foreigners. If you're planning a longer stay, I'd recommend this place. Even for a short stay, if you have good English, you could choose this hostel to practice speaking with foreigners. But if your English isn't great, you're a bit socially anxious, and on a budget, then any decent place will do. Still, this hostel is really excellent. If it weren't for budget constraints and lack of time, I would have definitely stayed a few more days. I'm currently staying in another hostel recommended on Xiaohongshu, but there are a lot of Chinese people here, and it has a bit of an unpleasant smell, which is a bit uncomfortable. I wish I could go back, but unfortunately, I'm only in Busan for three nights, haha. Seriously, just come and stay here, chat with foreigners, and practice your English. I never want to have 'mute English' again, sob sob sob!

The hotel's location is super convenient, close to everything. There's a convenience store right outside, and getting a taxi is easy. Plus, there's a bakery across the street perfect for breakfast. The beach is also directly opposite the hotel, and the monorail station is very close by.

The room is comfy and clean with a view of the haeundae beach. The beach itself is only a short leisure walk away via the main shopping street so it’s super convenient for a day on the beach and shopping later afterwards. It is also easily accessible via the haeundae metro station and has a convenient store on ground level of the hotel.

Crown Harbor Hotel Busan

I took the KTX from Seoul to Busan Station, and the hotel was just a few hundred meters away. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including an authentic pork soup and rice restaurant and a great BBQ place. There's also a convenience store right downstairs! It's about a 20-minute walk to Lotte Department Store and Jagalchi Market, which is a nice stroll, or you can take the subway. The only downside is that you need to transfer lines to get to Haeundae. The room was quite spacious, and the service was excellent. When I reported noise in my original room, they upgraded me to a family suite for the last night. The harbor view was a bonus – I even got to watch the sunrise over the harbor from my room!

Hotel ADELA

If you are looking for a stay with a view in Busan, Hotel Adela offers some fantastic visual perks, though it comes with a few logistical ”hurdles”—quite literally, if you end up taking the stairs! Here is a detailed breakdown of what to expect. The Room & Amenities The first thing you’ll notice is the generous room size. Unlike many cramped city hotels, there is plenty of space to move around. The View: The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the stunning harbor view. Watching the bridge light up at night is a great way to wind down. Comfort: The beds are comfortable and provide a good night’s rest. Condition: While the room is clean, some of the furniture is starting to show its age and feels a bit dated. Facilities: Basic toiletries, drinking water, tea, and coffee are all provided. Note that the toilet and bathtub are in the same space (not separated). Climate Control: Be aware that during winter and early spring, the air conditioning is disabled. If the room gets too warm, you’ll need to crack the window to let the crisp Busan air in. The Elevator Challenge (The Biggest Downside) The most significant drawback is the elevator situation. The hotel only has three elevators, which is insufficient for a building of this size—especially since it is a popular choice for large tour groups from Taiwan, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Peak Hours: Between 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, the elevators are perpetually packed. The Struggle: It can be so challenging to catch a lift that I actually had to walk down the stairs from the 15th floor to the lobby. If you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, this is a major factor to consider. Dining & Convenience On-site Eats: There is a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant on the 2nd floor that is definitely worth a try—the taste is quite good! Convenience: A CU convenience store is located right in the lobby, which is incredibly handy for late-night snacks or essentials. Breakfast Tip: I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast package. The restaurant is on the 24th floor, meaning you have to wait for the elevator to go up, and then wait again to get back down to the lobby to start your day. You’ll save money and time by eating at one of the many local spots nearby. Location & Accessibility The location is a strong point for shoppers and explorers: Metro: About a 7–8 minute walk to Nampo Station. Shopping: Very close to Lotte Shopping Mall and the famous Gwangbok-ro Shopping Street. Note: The building is shared with another hotel (North Harbor Hotel), which contributes to the high foot traffic in the lobby and elevators. Hotel Adela is a solid choice if you value a spacious room with a beautiful view and want to stay near the Nampo-dong action. However, the elevator delays are a serious test of patience. If you choose to stay here, try to avoid traveling in and out of the hotel during peak tour group hours! Pack your patience for the lobby wait, and definitely grab some fried chicken on the second floor!

Absolutely stunning sea view room! The location is fantastic, with plenty of dining options nearby, and it's quite lively at night. It's also not far from the bus stop. Gwangan Bridge is right outside the door. For South Korea, the value for money here is truly exceptional.
