GGuest UserWe came for a 2 night stay at Dusit Princess Melaka to compare the hotel standard with the building past occupant being Ramada Renaissance. Dusit Princess Melaka had certainly improved much on the grandeur of the hotel building. Its welcome perk was a 50MYR food voucher to spend at its eateries and valid only for the day of issue. Eating at the cafe and Long Feng Chinese restaurant were equally pleasant. The food menu choice and cooking at Long Feng were excellent but somewhat pricey. This hotel location would be comfortable for persons familiar with the old town of Melaka. Room was spacious, bright, neat and clean. The elevator worked well and fast enough and would need the room card to access on going up.

GGuest UserOur second stop in Malaysia was The Majestic Malacca, and I was absolutely captivated by its vintage charm. The decor in the lobby, courtyard, and even the rooms was incredibly photogenic. It's a historic building itself, and the overall design, furnishings, and soft decor perfectly matched my aesthetic – I was so pleased! The hotel service was excellent, embodying the attentive spirit of British butler service. The staff were also very warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was of exceptionally high quality. All in all, I absolutely loved this hotel. The only minor drawback was the soundproofing, which isn't ideal and might bother light sleepers. However, compared to the beauty of the property and the outstanding service, it's a minor detail I can easily overlook.

(My picture is a useless picture) However I think this hotel is a huge草台班子!!!😂 PLEASE consider my comments and advice: 1.The public toilet on 7th floor and other floors do nlt have English sign, which made me wrongly entered women's toilet, for god sake there was nobody, otherwise I ould have been a lawsuit with u guys!!! Pls, be really serious with this matter, not everyone can understand Malay or the ”man and women picture”, Cant u put English sign? It will be a really serious law issue if some men enter the women toilet! 7楼和其他楼层的公共厕所没有英文标识，仅仅马来文和图片，我进错了女厕所，幸好当时女厕所没有人，不然可能我就要和你们进行巨量拉扯法律诉讼了。请重视这一点，万一以后有男人进了女厕所发生法律纠纷呢?! 2. The cleaners are so ”robotic”,they make everything as same position as when I checked in. However, once after bath I was naked and didnt realize they opened the curtain again. You should thank god that nobody calls the police and ounish u in money!!! Pls be smarter and dont always open the curtain, move the sofa, move the hair dryer and tight it, and even change the airconsditioner temperature to original, etc. 清洁人员太机器人了，把房间一切恢复原样，但是我有一洗完澡次赤身裸体忘了窗帘又被拉开了。你的感谢上帝没有人报警不然你们就等着巨额罚单吧。请聪明一点，能不能不要每次都拉开窗帘，吹风机恢复原样还要捆好，甚至空调还要改成初始温度 3.The breakfast, dont have teh tarik for several days, though i believe its due to festival, but teh tarik didnt return on the first day after festival. And it is no need to translate Lasi Lemak and Teh Tarik into English. 早餐有好几天没有拉茶，尽管我相信是因为节日，但是节日后的第一天也没看到拉茶。并且椰浆饭和拉茶没有必要翻译成英语。 . .

A special mention goes to Roger, who was exceptionally helpful during our stay. He was friendly, attentive, and went the extra mile to assist with our requests, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The facilities were well-maintained, the rooms were spacious, and the overall service was excellent. Thank you to the team for the pleasant experience. CChikibumbum92This was our fifth stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. 1. Check-in The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite and welcoming. I had requested a Queen Bed room instead of Twin Beds. However, I was informed that because my booking was made at the last minute (one day before check-in), only a Twin Bed room was available as all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. We accepted the explanation and proceeded with the room provided. 2. Room Condition Upon entering the room, the first issue we noticed was the air conditioning. Despite setting the fan speed to high, the room remained warm and the air conditioner was not cooling properly. 3. Bathroom There appeared to be a blockage beneath the sink, as water was pooling around the sink and toilet area. In addition, the shower holder was broken while we were using the shower. We chose not to complain and continued our stay. 4. Room Door & Bathroom Door The bathroom door could not be closed properly unless it was pulled and pushed firmly. The more serious issue occurred the next morning after breakfast when our room door became stuck and could not be opened. We contacted maintenance, and the team arrived to inspect the problem. From approximately 8:00 AM onwards, we were unable to access our room. Around 8:30 AM, the maintenance team requested approval from the Front Office to move us to another room because the repair would require additional time. However, they informed that changing rooms would incur an additional charge because we were checking out on the same day. I strongly disagree with this decision. From 8:30 AM until our checkout time at 12:00/12:30 PM, we were still paying guests of the hotel. The room issue was caused by a defect on the hotel’s side, and guests should not be charged extra to move rooms due to problems beyond their control. The Most Disappointing Part During check-in, we were informed that no Queen Bed Deluxe Rooms were available. However, while the maintenance team was accessing our room through the connecting room next door, we discovered that the adjacent room was vacant and equipped with a Queen Bed. If the actual reason was that the room was unavailable due to maintenance, it would have been more professional and honest to explain that from the beginning rather than simply saying all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. This experience has left us very disappointed. Every time we visit Melaka, this hotel has always been our preferred choice. However, after this stay, we have decided not to return. I appreciate the hospitality shown by the staff during check-in, but I sincerely hope the hotel will improve both its facilities and service standards. Thank you.

AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at Ibis Melaka during my recent trip to Malacca. The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to Jonker Street and the historic area, which made exploring the city extremely easy. At the same time, the hotel is situated in a quieter area, so it was peaceful and comfortable at night. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and efficient layout of the room. Everything felt very new and thoughtfully designed. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and ready to assist whenever needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Another highlight was the excellent facilities, including the swimming pool, gym, and the spacious lobby area. The breakfast spread was also good with a nice mix of local and international options. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend Ibis Melaka to anyone visiting Malacca. It offers great comfort, good value, and a very convenient location. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

PptrihzqhEverything was okay, the apartment was comfortable. However, the room was connected to another, so I could hear people talking and other noises. There was no place to cook, which the owner didn't provide, even though the pictures showed one. The lift was incredibly frustrating; on the second day, it got stuck, and there was a sudden, loud jolt. Then, on check-out day, two out of the four lifts were broken, making us wait almost an hour to get down to the lobby and parking. Seriously, it was exhausting and hot 😣. Only two lifts were working. Aiyoooo, I hope the management can solve this issue. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, and we got free Netflix, which was a plus.

Not bad overall, check in and out service are prompt, spacious and comfy room, level 23 with unblock view all the way to Encore. Parking is available at either roadside or at the building behind. About the room: comfy and clean room, bed and pillow, toilet and shower area. I'm very particular about any foul or unpleasant smell, and so far this hotel has not disappointed. Loved their swimming pool which is an infinity pool. For tourists' info: This hotel is in between Encore and Jonker Street. Uniqlo, Jaya Grocer, Mixue, Watson's among the brands at Tarcor Park which is near Encore.

AAnonymous UserOverall, the experience was acceptable the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy. However, there were several issues during our stay Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned. Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently. Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.
