The room's cleanliness was really subpar. The bedside table looked like it hadn't been wiped down in ages; when I used a disinfectant wipe on it, it turned black. The window screens in the room were also covered in dust. While the bathroom wasn't small, the shower stall was tiny – it was hard to even turn around in there. The shampoo had even separated. Management wasn't great either; I handed over my room card to a staff member early in the morning, only to get a call at 2 PM asking if I was checking out. 😱 The female receptionist was a bit sharp-tongued, and they couldn't even manage room assignments properly. I've stayed at many places around Zhejiang University, and at this price point, this one is by far the worst. Seriously, I don't recommend staying here; save yourself the trouble! 🕳️

The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with convenience stores and small restaurants, giving it a lively, local feel. The hotel itself has four floors; it's small but well-appointed. While it doesn't offer the luxury of a five-star hotel, it's definitely cozy and comfortable. As shown in the pictures, the room is clean and hygienic, with full amenities, and the bed is very comfortable. It truly feels like a home away from home, completely avoiding the rough and messy feel of some other budget hotels. For the price, it's absolutely excellent value for money.
