Grand Dragon Noi Bai Hotel

Landed at the airport around 5-6 AM and only slept a few hours at this hotel. I was initially worried about hygiene and facilities like hot water, but my stay was decent, meeting expectations for this price range.

Very close to the airport, and generally good. There are also many dining options nearby. Recommended if you have a layover in Hanoi.

1. The room had a strong, musty smell. 2. The bed had dust, hair, and an odor, and the linens were yellowed, suggesting they hadn't been changed. The noise was unbearable, making it impossible to sleep. 3. The 'smart' toilet was a disaster; as soon as I turned it on, water sprayed violently all the way to the top of the bathroom door, soaking everything. It was terrifying! 4. I booked the room three days in advance, then saw bad reviews and tried to cancel within 10 minutes, but they refused. It felt like a rip-off. 5. We checked in at 7 AM and weren't allowed a late checkout. 6. Even though two of us were staying, they refused to give us two key cards. Because they kept rushing us to check out, I forgot to bring the key card downstairs. The front desk staff gave me a dirty look and wouldn't let me check out without it, forcing me to go back upstairs to get it, even though the cleaning lady was right there and could have easily brought it down. Is it really worth paying 300 VND for a hotel like this in Hanoi?
