Hanoi Siva Luxury Hotel

Hoan Kiem District
This is not a luxury hotel! Water leak in the bathroom, broken shower head, no hot water for showering, TV but no TV-channels...... Buffet breakfast was included but.... Toast, no butter. Scrambled eggs was ok, I would recommend this hotel for the future to have at least a good cup of coffee for breakfast 😶

I stayed at this hotel twice (on separate occasions) - The first time was good, hence we booked it again, but last night was a disaster. On both occasions we had a room with no window, which didn’t bother us the first time as we were only staying one night, no window meant it was quiet and the air con was cool so there was plenty of airflow. However the second time we stayed was a different story! The aircon has two settings, either heat or cool - At 11pm, we requested that they change it to cool (like last time) and were informed that the ‘policy has changed’. I argued to get this changed for over an hour, but was met with continued disagreement - the night manager was fearful of being fired, but I especially disliked the way he was half laughing at me. When I tell you the room was boiling, we had no airflow, it was so claustrophobic. We finally agreed on a fan and went to sleep around 1:30am. We then got a call at 8am to say that there would be a fire drill (why was this not done at midday?) - the alarm then went off for 10 minutes consistently. At 9am we were delivered the worlds worst breakfast (their restaurant was under construction hence it was delivered to our airless room) - the toast was so hard I could knock someone out with it, and the eggs were cold/tasteless. But the final straw (and seriously I’m not kidding) was when we got a knock at 9:15am and given two gas masks… in the middle of a fire drill, in a windowless room - WITH NO EXPLANATION. This was terrifying. I went down, and requested a full refund - the manager obliged; and hilariously, my room was set to cool.

Everything is good even though this price is! There is a bar for Japanese owners around the hotel, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable!

Terrible hotel. Many issues. The shower head didn’t work properly and the light globe in one of the lamps stopped working so I requested assistance. Instead of fixing these issues I was given a room change. The shower head was still poor in the new room. The walls are thin so could hear the people in the next room very clearly. One of the reasons I selected to stay at this property was the sky bar, however, it is closed! Extremely disappointed. The bathroom was really weird, poorly designed and small. You have to step up to the bath and open these heavy thick glass doors to get into the shower. It’s not safe and clumsily designed. The door of my room wasn’t fitted properly so lots of light from the hallway came in. The hotel room was very over priced for my 2 night stay. Only one person speaks good English, the lady. The room was fitted out in a modern style but quite small and no extra pillows. The air con was good. The basin didn’t seem clean and water from the basin went everywhere. Luckily I only stayed two nights here. The lady at reception was helpful with your suggestions and gave me a map. I do not recommend this hotel
Grand Dragon Hotel Hanoi

The price is cheap and the space is spacious, especially after the door is opened, it is a comfortable double bed, the pillows are comfortable and sleepy, the bathroom is bright and clean, the medium room type has a bathtub to relax the fatigue of the whole day. The housekeeping staff is very kind. If you encounter problems, you can call the counter staff at any time. The processing speed and communication ability are quite good. Once my door was hung, please do not disturb, but the bottled water in my room was gone. The housekeeping staff on the floor immediately prepared new water for me. There was no delay at all. Very efficient Breakfast is delicious, especially the English ability of the counter staff is very good, don't worry about the problem of unclear communication, sincerely recommend the living function near the hotel is also quite convenient, there are many convenience stores and cafes nearby, Going a little further is Shopping Mall and McDonald's, don't worry about having no place to go shopping

Super cost-effective! The map is between Hoan Kiem Lake and West Lake. I thought it would be remote, but it was actually in a large courtyard in an alley in the busy urban area. There are two bedrooms, one living room and one bathroom. There is a kitchen and dining room, shampoo, toothbrushes, no disposable slippers, trash cans are cleaned every day, bath towels and bottled water are refilled, and linen is not changed. Walk to 36xing Street for 5 minutes, Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Town, Night Market, Tong Xuan Market for 15 minutes, and Confucian Temple for 20 minutes. In short, most of the attractions are within walking distance. The airport uses Grab to take a taxi, 270,000 VND, 80 yuan. Hotel front desk service is super good! The surrounding area is full of Hanoi cuisine.
