This hotel was used for 4 nights and 5 days, but the room was always clean, the cooler was powerful and the breakfast buffet was very delicious. Especially beef pho was better than that of the famous restaurant outside, and the Vietnamese iced coffee every morning was as delicious as the cafe outside, and I am very satisfied. Also, on the last day of my trip, the flight to Japan was midnight, but it was very helpful to let me use the shower after checking out. The hotel staff were all kind (because I had to get on the plane while sweating) but Jenny and M were especially kind. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days, the room was always clean, the air conditioner was powerful, and the breakfast buffet was very good. In particular, the beef pho was better than that of the famous restaurant outside, and the Vietnamese iced coffee every morning was as delicious as the cafe outside, and I was very satisfied. Also, on the last day of the trip, my flight to Japan was late at night, but they let me use the shower even after checking out, which was very helpful. All the hotel staff were very nice (because I had to get on the plane sweating as it was), but Jenny and M were especially helpful. Thanks for the great experience!

We had a very enjoyable stay at La Sinfonia del Rey. The location was superb next to the Hoan Kiem lake right in the middle of the Old Quarter. All of the staff were extremely friendly and special mention to Rose who greeted us and remembered our names throughout our stay, and to give us recommendations on where to eat while we were in Hanoi. We also wanted to thank the manager who checked us in and had more food recommendations and for the lady who checked us out that gave our son a departing gift. Thank you for having us!

The hotel is in a great location in the Old Quarters with everything just a walking distance away. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. It’s a newly renovated hotel so everything was new and clean. Some work is still ongoing but not enough to be a bother. Special mention to Patrick who gave us a list of places to go to and was helpful with any questions we had.

My God. The Capella Hanoi is the finest city hotel experience that I have enjoyed thus far. It really blows other 'high end' hotels out of the water completely. The level of service rivals that of other five star establishments in Bali (which I can personally say has some of the best hospitality standards globally). The staff were all so kind, genuine and knowledgeable. They all gave excellent recommendations for off-site activities and dining, although honestly, next time I'll just stay put in the hotel all day because of what's on offer in-house! The main point of difference that very few hotels are doing is their daily ”rituals”, think complimentary cocktails and snacks during happy hour every day, plus champagne breakfasts with Tattinger, – no “sparkling wine” here – and a lavish spread of the best Vietnamese food we had during our stay in the city (the breakfast beef pho is a must try), along with oysters and steak. Mind blowing. The hotel itself is a feast for the eyes: drawing inspiration from the 1920s art-deco scene of the nearby Hanoi Opera. Our suite was just stunning, easily one of the most impeccably designed rooms I've ever stayed in. Even the corners of the walls were designed in art deco fashion, and antique props are on display around the room. You really can't say very many other hotels employ this level of detail. Coming from someone who lives in and experiences the high standards of Balinese hospitality, (I’ve also stayed at the Capella Ubud), the service at Capella Hanoi was nothing short of phenomenal. The staff were so lovely and so genuine. It's simply put a top-notch place with outstanding facilities, incredible service, and stellar management – I genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

The hotel was clean and well appointed in that it had toiletries and towels and nice sheets but it was shabby by 4 star standards despite the nice rooms. We felt it was a 3 star overall. The grouting was dirty, the bath creaked terribly and there was no evening meal service, pool or even room service (despite a hotel guide in the room saying there was!). The shower was ok but not more than like a domestic wall shower. We had three pillows over the one single and one double in the room and the pillows were flat. We ate at the hotel on the street but it was all frog, squab and other peculiar meats, even by Vietnam standards. No veggie options in the streets around so for more digestible food walk a few streets. There is a safe in the room and good WiFi. Breakfast service was over full and chaotic. The fruit juices were from concentrate (I saw her refilling). So it was ok but isn’t a destination. The location was ok for central Hanoi but not great if you can’t walk easily. The breakfast was ok but certainly not as good as others we have stayed in. The room cleaning was very good and the hotel felt safe. I think we would have been more pleased if we hadn’t had better in Siagon, Hue and Hoi An. The air con was good but switches off after a while.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi and the customer experience was wonderful from end-to-end. Upon reaching the hotel we were warmly greeted by the reception team who had some welcome drinks and seamlessly checked us in. we enjoyed the view and our drinks from the Infinity bar. The reception staff looked after us well during our stay with exchanging currency for us. We would particularly like to recognise the concierge Huyen Tran who was truly remarkable with her customer service to us during our stay. She provided us with a wealth of information, guidance and handy tips for our stay in Hanoi. She gave us the timetable for Train Street and the recommended bar/restaurant to get a great view, recommended a number of shops where I could find a particular t-shirt that I was after, helped us with multiple currency exchanges, found my wife’s lost sunglasses that she had left in the ground floor bar and had then returned to our room on top of the mini bar, retrieved my wife’s scarf that she left at the poolside bar and had it waiting for her to collect. She even had bandaids for me to patch up my wound when I had cut my hand. Huyen, thank you so much. You were truly a delight to talk with and are truly an asset to the Accor group. Facilities wise, there was a lovely pool with the really cool Cabana Club bar next to it on level 4. Mangosteen restaurant put out a great breakfast buffet every morning with plenty of local, international and traditional breakfast options in a fine dining setting. Lounge 83 on the ground floor had really comfortable couches and a classy intimate setting playing soothing music in the background. Every day at 5pm they had Chocolate Hour where they put out a chocolate fountain and plenty of sweet treats all for free for hotel guests. The Classic King Room that we stayed in was very clean, well appointed with great amenities. The two most important things about the room were well addressed. First, the bed was so comfortable that we had a good night’s sleep and felt well rested. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Second, the shower had excellent water pressure, regardless of whether you used the traditional shower head or the rain shower (which was my preferred option), was instantly hot and was quite spacious. Feeling clean and feeling well rested are two of the most important aspects in my opinion. Location-wise, the hotel is very conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Old Quarter, about 10 minutes walk from Train Street, 10 minutes from Lake Hoan Kiem, and only 200 metres away from one of the best restaurants in Hanoi which is Quan An Ngon. Every staff member that we interacted with at the hotel was friendly, helpful and a joy to be around. We really enjoyed our time at the Movenpick and look forward to returning there in the future. Thank you to the Movenpick team (and in particular Huyen) for a wonderful experience.

Access: Get off at the end point of Route 86 bus ”Hanoi National Railways Station” from Noibai International Airport for about 10 minutes, head south on the main street in front of the station (while looking at the station building on the right side) ”Hotel Du Park (former: Turn left at the intersection in front of Nikko Hotel Hanoi, head to the next intersection, and the entrance of the hotel is visible on the left side. The room I stayed in was a double room on the 10th floor with a wooden finish overall, and the unit bath had a bathtub and a Japanese electric washlet, but the washlet did not work. There are two free mineral water, coffee and green tea, and a paid mini bar (sweets, soft drinks, beer) in the TV stand and refrigerator. Breakfast is a restaurant on the 2nd floor from 6:00 in the morning, almost the same as a Japanese business hotel, and Vietnamese noodle dishes ”four” and various * dishes can be cooked in the live kitchen. Although it was only one night stay for the transit, the front staff spoke one word Japanese, and there were many Japanese guides in the hotel and I was able to spend comfortably (check out until 12 o'clock).

I checked into the Hotel on 21st June for a 4 night stay. Right from the poor “Check-In” experience one could get a feeling that something was amiss... I had multiple “sub-standard” experiences in this relatively new property. To highlight a few.. • On the 1st night, I ordered for a Vietnamese Grilled Fish (Medium rear), but what I received was a “Well done”, over cooked, almost fried fish. There were almost no attendants at the only restaurant at the hotel at 10:30pm. • On the 3rd day at despite the restaurant being empty at breakfast, all the salad bar servings were empty at 9:45am. There was not adequate bread in the bread baskets. When I pointed to the restaurant manager that the breakfast buffet is available until 10:30am, I was told that the serving bowls are empty as the team was all busy preparing for a 500 pax lunch later in the day (24th June)…..honestly not sure this was an acceptable answer. • On the 3rd evening at 10:15 pm, when I tried to utilize my complementary welcome drink at the bar, I was told the bar attendant was not available and the drink cannot be served. • Despite requests for coffee sachets to be placed in the room during daily housekeeping service, the same were never placed. However, had to personally make a call for the same every day. • There was no Iron and Ironing board in the room. • The hand sanitizers installed in the elevators were empty and not operational. • The air-conditioning in the lobby never seemed to work. Despite repeated requests to meet with the GM, it was only on the 3rd day was I told that the GM is not available for the week as he is on an official trip. Ironically the Rooms duty manager (2nd in charge after the GM) was also not available. Would not recommend this property for a stay.

The Sen Grand Hotel is the perfect blend of affordability and luxury. As a luxurious yet budget-friendly hotel, Sen Grand consistently delivers superb value with high-end amenities you'd expect to find at a much pricier hotel. From the moment you step into the lavish lobby, you're transported to a space that feels indulgent yet accessible. The lobby features plush seating, ambient lighting, and contemporary decor that make you feel like a million bucks without breaking the bank. The executive room is a spacious suite featuring a comfortable king bed, desk, flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi to keep you connected. But the highlight has to be the large rooftop swimming pool, big hot tub in the room, fitness center, and restaurant on-site. You'll never want to leave! The pool is warm and inviting, perfect for swimming laps or lounging on a pool floatie. After a long day of exploring, the hot tub is the ultimate relaxation station for me with the maximum privacy I can enjoy. From the generous amenities and modern decor to the friendly staff,Sen Grand provides a level of comfort and quality that can't be beaten for the price. If you want luxury without the hefty price tag, Sen Grand is the obvious choice. You'll live your best life without breaking the bank at this affordable yet upscale hotel chain. With Sen Grand, five-star style and service are well within your reach.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI chose this hotel for my group of ten visiting Hanoi for three days. It had to meet these conditions: 1. Located in French Quarter, beloved for it's beautiful architecture; 2. Front a main street for vehicle access; and 3. Rooms on the ground floor or reached by elevator. 4. Reasonable room rates The hotel offered more: suite rooms, one with a balcony facing the street, washing machine and dryer in each room, proper bathrooms, pleasing decor, and excellent service. Opposite was a shop selling pho and bun. The owner was very friendly, the food excellent. He even offered me tra da free. A few doors away was a shop selling banh cuon, my favourite breakfast, again tasty food, and VND5,000 tra da to go with the meal. The owner herself, although hardly managing to speak English, was friendly and extremely helpful, while two if the staff spoke good English. I will definitely stay here again
RramokokoThis hotel is incredible. Location within a local street, can be very busy during morning peak and evening too. It is surrounded by many local F&B stalls/shops (PhoBo-Beef Rice Soup Noodles, Ga-Chicken) and middle level F&B (Tien Sushi, BBQ & beer, and one nearby big Beer and grill restaurant).
Its facilities include indoor swimming pool/jacuzzi, gym, alfresco cafe, International cum Japanese Breakfast buffet, a rather Chinese roast delight restaurant, local mini mart, a chill out bar).
What makes me book a few times : International cum Japanese Breakfast buffet, Clean and quiet room designed according to Japanese decor.
AAnonymous UserThe staff at the hotel are very friendly and willing to listen to my poor English. Even though I was worried about it, I broke it from my wallet.
Perhaps because we were cleaning with a small staff and we were waiting for guests who checked out late, we recommend that you arrive an hour before check-in at 2:00, leave your luggage, and go sightseeing at the lake. I was told that it would take about an hour again when I returned after about two hours just in case, and I was angry.
In fact, the day before, I was double-booked at the airport hotel and moved to another terminal. I had just rolled my suitcase and walked for over an hour on the occupied sidewalk, annoyed. Actually, I didn't have enough time left to take a walk, so I took a rest on a chair by the Hoan Kiem Lake.
I usually give priority to the other person's convenience, but when I complained that it was too late !!
Looking at the room, although it is spacious, there is nothing, the TV has no channels, the electric pot does not reach the outlet, and the bath is only a shower without a bath tub... It is spacious.
There is no window... It's cheap, but you should avoid the windowless room on the 2nd floor.
As expected, when I told the front desk, I immediately came with me to check it, and because the TV was not reflected, I brought a different TV from another place and attached it to the wall. The pot pulls the stand under the TV, plugs it into the outlet below, and puts it back in again. I'm a nice person, but...
Breakfast was good. The top floor of the Backpacker Hotel, which is a little far away, takes the elevator up to 8 times, and then you have to go up the stairs to the 2nd floor, so be prepared. Don't get lost because you will be returning alone. A young brother who looks like a part-time job sent me without a nasty face.
I wish I could have stayed in a better room...
This is my impression. I could hear the voice of the front desk all the time, so it was really good to bring earplugs.
”They're really nice people.” perhaps.
GGuest UserPros: The staff was extremely kind and accommodating and willing to help with any and everything if mentioned to them. It’s a fab location with Hoan Kiem lake well within walking distance, yet not right in the middle of the hectic old quarter so it’s possible to get a good night’s sleep (our room didn’t have a window, so unsure if this is true for rooms with window). Beds were changed every day and also clean towels daily however other amenities like toilet paper, shampoo, bodywash etc weren’t topped up during our stay. Cons: We arrived after the advertised check in time and our room wasn’t ready which wasn’t ideal after 17 hours of flights, however also understandable that sometimes other guests check out late. I think because of this they rushed to get the room ready which meant it wasn’t completely clean e.g hair on the floor, fingerprints on the mirrors/glass. Our TV didn’t work, the wifi was very slow during our stay, and the shower ran cold for the first 2 days which to be fair was fine considering how hot it was. Booking.com still states that breakfast is available here but nothing was mentioned to us about breakfast, and it’s worth noting that the photos used by the property definitely aren’t accurate. The property is nice, but not like the photos. Our room was windowless which I cant remember whether this was mentioned when booking. We didn’t complain as we 1) were very tired from the travelling, and 2) felt that it was a case of you get what you pay for (budget room/hotel). However I felt considering the high score the property has on booking.com and on here, it was important to leave a more accurate image of the property. Overall I would recommend for budget travellers, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for
GGuest UserThe rooms are really nice. The whole experience of the massage was very professional. Phuong was my masseuse, she very profession and good at the massage. There is also a sky bar which is lovely. The prices are really reasonable as well.
GGuest UserThe service was so good,
The lady and her family treat the clients so well. The husband even helps to take people to the airport.
The bed is so clean, and the washroom is equipped with everything in it.
By the way, sitting at the receptionist, I saw how they treated the other client, that's what we call customer service.
GGuest UserReception were very friendly and helped to book my taxis (cheaper than getting a Grab taxi). The room itself was very clean and housekeeping were attentive and cleared out bins etc everyday.
The location is also very good - near old town area and great to visit by going around the lake.
GGuest UserRatings are always based on personal standards and judging criteria. For this, I am coming from the angle of a cheap airport hotel. This is the best airport hotel around Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, and at a decent price. Do not expect intercontinental buffet breakfast, business lounges and the likes. The room is pretty new, clean, functional, and large. Despite being close to the airport, you can barely hear anything from landing aircraft. Breakfast is simple at best, and staff seem to be still in 'training', with only Brian being the 'boss'. Rooftop pool doesn't look well maintained, and the entertainment room has been abandoned totally altogether, with the foosball and billiard table left to collect dust while it has become a storage and parking area. But hey, its an airport hotel. Purpose is to have people sleep for 1 night before leaving prompto. It is situated in a pretty rural area so don't expect any established eateries or convenience stores nearby. Think roadside hawkers and home-run provision shops. In conclusion, best airport hotel near Hanoi Noi Bai Airport.
CCCKY1007Please pay attention to the room type when making a reservation. After my booking, not sure whether the homestay owner or Trip.com altered the room details, resulting in a mismatch between the room I reserved and the one provided. Luckily the room is still available, and we were able to move back to the room type we reserved for during our second and third night stay. The homestay is conveniently located in the heart of Hanoi, and the room looks exactly like the pictures, though it’s slightly smaller than expected. I love their rooms decoration! There's also a beautiful cafe downstairs. I would rate the cleanliness 3-4/5; the floor was a bit sticky, and the room slightly dusty. Additionally, note that there is no elevator in the building, so consider this if you have bulky luggage.
GGuest UserI really liked the location of this place in how it is near a lot of food, fruit, and vegetable stands. I also liked how it is near a lot of mini stores where I can go pick up things that I need. Owner is very nice and loans me things that I needed. She is very respectful to me calling me sir. Hotel maid was very friendly to be around. I like how there was a portable convection stove for me to cook things with. I like how there were silverware, chopsticks, and dishes that I can use to eat my food with. Very good deal to use the washer where it only costs 20,000 dong for the first time and free for additional uses. I liked how it was near that big Winmart grocery store.
Hotel room was very clean. I liked how it had this small space where I can hang my clothes up to dry which was perfect because it was directly underneath the air conditioning unit of the room upstairs where it gives off the heat which dries it faster. Hotel always has a fresh clean set of towels available whenever I need it. Hotel always has toilet paper available whenever I need it.
The only thing that I didn't like was that now and then, there are spiders, where I had to kill 2 of them. I also had to deal with a big spider on my last day. I am somebody that has a fear of spiders.
I might comeback to this hotel in August, September, or beginning of next year when I comeback towards Hanoi in Vietnam and the situation fits for me.
