Cannot rate this place enough. Great location, short walk into town passing a few great bars. Christie's one to visit. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Lovely bed, pillows and duvet. Great shower with lovely shower gels and shampoo. Lovely toiletries and lovely selection of refreshments in the room. Lovely Border biscuits. Parking which was free. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful. There was a lovely selection of cereals and a great choice of hot food made to order. The best guest house we have stayed in and for visiting Harrogate would definitely be returning and recommend to anyone else.

Fantastic. The location is quiet. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower is out of this world. A delicious, made-to-order breakfast is available at 0800. The staff is so kind and generous. The entrance is secure and has a cypher lock for access. The location is within walking distance of all the restaurants, shops, and cafes in Harrogate. The price is excellent, and we will recommend this accommodation to all our family and friends visiting Harrogate.

Not for us – Room was dusty and tea stained on arrival. Owners do not live on site, keypad entry. No heating or hot water one night for a few hours so had to shower in another room, fortunately it wasn’t the night before as the guest house was full. Breakfast was delicious and Sue, James and Sid looked after us extremely well.

From the easy online booking process via the clear, welcoming arrival instructions, including a whatsaap message on the day, to the friendly helpful staff this was a great short break. The Fountains is a short walk into town but still in a quiet area near the Conference centre. There is a small car park but also a supply of daily parking vouchers for the immediate area available in the hall. The property has electronic front and room door locks so no need of manual check in and the room we had was modern and decorated to a high standard. Small details are well catered for even to the extent of having flasks of fresh milk in the lounge fridge for each room rather than inadequate UHT sachets. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and the staff were helpful and friendly especially with my wife's dietary requirements. A great find for us.

The attention to detail was excellent i.e complimentary milk in a flask, tissues, shower gel, shampoo, shower caps, selection of drinks on the welcome tray etc. Ironong board, iron and hair drier. Breakfast was fab and nothing too much trouble. Very close to town centre. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again. Only thing would have been handy if there was a coat stand or hooks as it rained when we were there and no-where to hang the wet coats. A minor point that didn't detract from our super stay. Thank you.

Fantastic stay, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I was greeted by a lovely lady called Sue, she was amazing from start to finish. Was showed to my room at check-in where it has all your required stuff, towels, coffee etc, iron and ironing board, a lovely shower, and a comfortable bed, Lovely breakfast, and private free parking. Sue and the team were fantastic and i am already planning my next stay!! Customer service was fantastic and is a pleasure to have stayed here. This is how you should be treated as a guest! Checking in using the pre-provided door codes was a little unnerving at first but the system worked and proved to be very useful. No forgetting keys or cards. The property is very clean, quiet, had everything we wanted. Great breakfast served with a cheery smile. Would certainly stay there again.

We had a great stay in an apartment at the Fountains. The staff were very helpful & the breakfast was delicious, the only thing missing was some fresh fruit. Free off street parking was a big bonus. Milk & a bottle of cava were left in the fridge for us on arrival. Location was perfect, only a 5-10 min walk to some very good bars, restaurants, shops & the stunning Valley Gardens. Would highly recommend you stay here.
