The self check-in with facial recognition means no queues and it's super easy to use, which is a lifesaver when you're rushing for a high-speed train – no time wasted. The room is fully smart, equipped with Xiao Ai (a smart assistant), so I could control the lights, curtains, and air conditioning just by calling out from bed. It's incredibly convenient and frees up your hands. The amenities are comprehensive, with all sorts of extra supplies available, showing great attention to detail. The hotel even thoughtfully prepared fresh welcome fruits, which was a lovely touch as soon as I entered the room. The cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm transiting through Hefei!"

The executive lounge: great (basic) food and good drink options. Open from 15.00-20.30 (17.30-20.30 happy hour and dinner)"

"This hotel is right on Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, next to the Li Hongzhang Memorial Hall, and very close to Xiaoyaojin Park, which has tons of boats and playground equipment for kids. Despite being in a bustling area, it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. It shares a building with another hotel, offering a very comfortable and French-inspired atmosphere. The rooms are incredibly quiet, and the breakfast is rich and plentiful. Definitely recommend!"

I did have some problems with my room card the 2nd day but it was sorted out easily and really professionally. My only complaint is that when I went to the gym all the machines were in need of maintenance and did not work properly.. Was also extremely warm inside the gym with no A/C. And that is the main reason I return to this hotel because of the gym facilities. But except for that the stay was comfortable and I would definitely recommend it. For me it's the hotel I choose when I go to Hefei."

"This May Day holiday, I took my parents and in-laws on a trip. We had already explored Jiangsu and Zhejiang, so we opted for Anhui. We stayed at the Meliá Hotel in Hefei's High-tech Zone and visited all the main attractions: three ancient towns, Baogong Park, Xiaoyaojin Park, Hefei 1972, Leijie Street, and many more. Now, about the hotel itself: it follows the HUAZHU Group's standard model, offering excellent value for money. My only complaints are that the TV was mounted a bit crooked, the hot water wasn't hot enough, and the room service for deliveries was poor; I requested water, and it never arrived."

It's also super convenient for food, drinks, shopping, and entertainment, and close to the concert venue. There are plenty of electric scooters for rent nearby, making it easy to get around."

"Take the subway from Hefei South Railway Station one stop to Wanghuchengxi Station, Exit A. It's a 5-minute walk to the hotel; the location is obvious, next to a Metro supermarket. The front desk upgraded my room for free. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the hot water came on quickly with good pressure – perfect. In the evening, it's a 15-minute walk to the famous Lei Street for sightseeing. The breakfast included with the hotel was also quite good."
