Very pleased with my stay. Desk manned 24 hours a day, good security. Staff is friendly and watch full. Much appreciated as a women traveling alone staff never failed to acknowledge me, Room renovated, bed comfortable, refrig, micro wave, coffee maker, ironing board , AC/Heater worked well, Plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Parking always available Don't be fooled by tucked back location. Its very quite. Relatives stayed at other local hotels paid more for way less. Ebony at the front desk is wonderful. Cleaning staff do a great job and maintenance supervisor is a lovely man very responsive to minor issues in the room.

I drove 3 hours tonight and arrived at the hotel at 11pm. The front desk girl was outside smoking and came inside to check me in. She gives me my room and instantly I notice it’s cold when I walk in the room. The window is not shut and is broken and won’t lock. I go up front to tell her and the first thing she says is “I don’t have any other rooms.” I said come look at this. She makes a failed attempt to act like she cared and said she would see what she could do. I used the restroom and then came back with a solution of “let’s get something to put behind the window so it locks.” She sat on the phone with someone talking for another 5 min and then brought out a broken stick. We go back to the room… the stick doesn’t fit, and it’s cracked already so I say “if we break it where it’s already broken it will fit.” She replies “no I can’t break it I don’t know what it’s used for.” I told her cancel the room I will go somewhere else. She THEN informs me I will have to take it up with management about A CANCELLATION FEE!!! I chose not to argue today because obviously she lacks the critical thinking skill needed to do probably the majority of things in her life. I chose this hotel because the reviews raved of hospitality and cleanliness…. guess I got the wrong front desk person cause she didn’t give a FAK.
