Escape Inn Hershey

Very nice . It's deceptive from the outside, but rooms are neat and clean with modern features. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly and helpful. I wish that I would have gotten his name. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The facility was clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have an ottoman to go with the big chair but the amenities are updated and nice.

Hotel rooms modern and renovated. Great location near convention center. Free parking and across the street from restaurants. Very impressed and great value.

This Motel was rated a 9 but definitely is not a 9. Look at the pictures, they aren’t trying to hide anything. It was clean and comfortable but it is old. I was very skeptical when we arrived but the desk attendant told us if we don’t like it she would refund us. But it was clean and we slept good. The lobby is a small booth under the Motel. Definitely not a 9 when all considered but we gave it a solid 7.

Cleanliness was not the greatest. The trim on the walls was completely dirty, paint peeling off the walls. The tv had a crack in it

The front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly. The room decor was modern, but the walls and trim could use paint. The bedside lamps did not work and the table plugs for USB cords. Also did not work on the bedside table. Those things are acceptable to me in an economy hotel. I would have been fine and if those were the only issues I would even say I would have stayed there again. But lack of basic cleaning is a huge problem for me. I honestly contemplated going to a different hotel, but since it was already paid for and only one night I stayed. The floors are not carpeted and had spills and dried things stuck to them. It had not been mopped in some time. It was sticky in some places. There were half eaten pieces of cookie or some sort of food and crumbs by the bed. Giant hairballs in the bathroom and trash that had not been cleaned up behind the toilet, there were crumbs on the desk and the top of the dresser. I had to wipe them off before I could put my bags on top and the walls above the beds are fuzzy with dust, but the floors were really gross. I refuse to walk around in socks and kept my shoes on the entire time. I will say that the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I saw no bugs, and trust me I looked…I would have left if there were bugs. The shower and bathtub were also clean. It’s a shame the rest was not.

For the price, it was great. Not flashy but it was a great room and the staff was very accommodating.
