"Apart from the water supply issue in the room, the rest are perfect. The breakfast was good, and the night views from the hotel was spectacular. The water supply in the room was too slow, and I had to go to the public bathroom for brushing teeth. The staff offered to upgrade us to another room, but we don't like the 2 single beds room so we decided to stay in the one King bedroom that we reserved."

"The air conditioner was not working easily and it was a little cold.
Others were clean and wide overall and very good.
Because there is Himeji Jo castle nearby, I walked a little, but it was very good to see the light up at night."
"Excellent ryokan, kaiseke dinner was delicious, good service. I really liked the onsen outside. There is a transfer from the train station, but you need to write or call the hotel in advance."

"The traffic location is OK, relatively close to Himeji Station, and also very close to Himeji City, within the shopping street.
Facilities: Check in before 10 pm, can not be done after the time.
Environment: Generally, it is a space capsule, and the air conditioner is relatively enough.
Service: Service is also available, no Chinese service, English and Japanese can be.
The price is more expensive, after all, Japan."
"The comfortable environment is neat and clean. The atmosphere is great with the view of the Yumeqian River. There are supermarkets nearby, which are convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. It is a good place to relax and meditate. The transportation is convenient and you can go to Shushoyama Yuantongji Temple and ひめじ."

Excellent
JJonathan Tak ShingMy wife and I stayed at a Japanese-Style Room with Japanese Cypress Open-Air Bath on the Terrace. The hotel has English speaking staff who was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the servers Mr Shiraiwa and Ms Yamaguchi provided excellent services. This is one of the best onsen ryokans we have experienced, and we look forward to returning.
GGuest UserVery well designed compact room with everything I need in the right places. We were lucky to see the castle in the distance. Good shower and firm bed.
EErlingsanDecent hotel walking distance from Himeji train station and Himeji castle.
Check in was smooth, they offered the usual free coffee/tea/lemon water. We asked for a second blanket, which was no problem for the staff.
The rooms are the usual Japanese business hotel style. The “normal” room, has semi double bed, which would seem a bit small for Western travellers, especially if you are big. But this you should know already, if you ever travelled to Japan.
The breakfast was decent [see picture], and the heating was working well.
GGuest UserI stayed here for the second time. It was convenient and clean. There was free noodles in the morning, which tasted good. It was close to the station and very convenient. The breakfast was very rich. I would recommend staying here next time.
GGuest UserI give 5star although its 12min walk away from station because its so near shops and castle. Service i also give 5star because they let me leave my luggage before check in time.. but be sure you be there before 10am. Its quite old place. Rooms at second floor. I like it they let me choose the empty space i wanted instead of assigning any bed to me..
GGuest UserPerfect for a night or two next to the train station!
Everything is clean, they provide earplugs for the night but it's not even that noisy after a certain point. Capsules are rather big with everything one might desire (power plugs, TV, fan, adjustable light, locker)
I would book again!
GGuest UserNice hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They went out their way to make my stay enjoyable. A couple of guys at reception spoke great English. Great roof terrace with view of castle. 500 yen to use a well equipped gymn about 60m from the hotel. Slept well here.
EEng KiatHotel Livemax Himeji is centralised located near the train station. The highlight is definitely the onsen. Though it’s a bit small, it is definitely comfortable and help keeps me relaxed after long day of travel. The room has all the basic amenities though I find the color scheme a bit dark. We took the smoking room even though we don’t smoke. It was a bit dusty but no cigarette smell. Onsen tax is about SGD $3 per night. Overall I will stay again as it is comfortable and has a good onsen for the price I paid.
逍逍遙行者The only drawback is that it is far from the shopping area. There is a shuttle bus to the hotel from the south exit of Himeji Station, so it only takes 10-20 minutes to walk. The natural hot spring is free. In addition, you can also pay to book a private family bath room. The front desk staff is friendly, especially the older uncle. His attitude and service are very good. The overall experience is great!
GGuest UserIt's close to the station and has a hot spring and sauna on the top floor.
It's a low-temperature sauna that even sauna beginners can use, so it was easy to get in.
I stayed on the 7th floor and the view was great.
You can even see the Shinkansen from some rooms!
The noise from the next room is a bit annoying, but it's not a problem.
Dinner and breakfast are included for free.
Even if you don't have dinner, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so it's not a problem.
Breakfast is a buffet, so you can have as much as you like of whatever you like, which is great.
I'd like to stay here again.
