VincekaizerMe and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely had a great time. We originally came to Moalboal to experience Kawasan Canyoneering, and we were lucky because B’lu Bamboo is within the area where our canyoneering organizer offered free pick-up and drop-off.
The location is really convenient. It’s close to White Beach and Lambug Beach, and the famous Sardine Run is also nearby. Osmeña Peak is around an hour away, and even Oslob is only about 2 hours away if you want to do a day trip.
There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so getting food or anything you need is easy.
Eda was wonderful and very accommodating throughout our stay. And if you want breakfast, honestly look no further — Eda makes the best breakfast in Moalboal! They also rent motorcycles for an additional fee, which made it much easier for us to explore the area.
We’re really glad we picked B’lu Bamboo and would definitely stay here again when we return to Moalboal. Highly recommended!

A small, quiet, cozy, family-run hotel, practically on the seashore. It's surprising that there was room for a swimming pool in such a limited area.
Interestingly, the water in the pool is fresh, but in the shower it's salty. )))
I don't like exclusively ”marmalade” reviews, so I'll mention the disadvantages, of which I saw only two:
1. Well, the order is very long to complete. Agree that 40 minutes of waiting for dinner is too much.
2. Swimming in the sea with a mask, or just swimming in the sea, will be difficult for you because of the shallow depth and the bottom, completely strewn with broken corals. However, this does not depend on the owners of the hotel. But the cleanliness of the coast and the ”sea up to the knees” depend on them )))
As Exupery said in ”The Little Prince”: ”When you wake up in the morning - clean up your planet”
I don't want to go into details, so as to spoil the generally positive impressions, including the price, received from staying in this truly cozy hotel.

I stayed here for 3-4 nights during a super typhoon in November. The typhoon was so severe that everything around us was in chaos, but I was amazed to see the staff clean up and restore everything to normal within half a day.
I had considered staying at a moderately priced hostel since Bantayan Island is more about activities than luxury resort stays, but then I found Ananya Resort at a similar price point.
For a beachfront property of this quality, the value for money is exceptional, and it's incredibly well-maintained and clean, so I highly, highly recommend it!
The resort staff are also very friendly. If you arrive on the island early in the morning, I recommend paying the 500 pesos for early check-in so you can save some time to rest or start your activities sooner!
The breakfast isn't a buffet; instead, you choose from a single menu of Filipino breakfast options. I recommend the Beef Tapa!
The only downside, as it's a budget-friendly resort, is that there's no hairdryer! If you need one, make sure to bring your own!

This is a budget-friendly room. The space is enough for couples. There’s not much amenities in the room though.
You can ask the staff to clean the room promptly. There are some small stores outside where you can buy some necessities, but if you wish to buy fast food, the center is a bit far from this location.

Guest UserThe location is excellent, not far from where they take you to see the whale sharks. The hotel provides round-trip transfers, but you can also walk about 500 meters in 10 minutes, though it's along the road. The price for the whale shark tour from the hotel with transfer is 1000 pesos; without transfer, it's 500 pesos per person if you book on site. The rooms are spartan, with nothing but a bed and a table. There's a water heater in the shower, but it doesn't quite do its job. However, for 3,000 rubles, if you just came to see the whale sharks, spend a night, and leave, it's perfectly justifiable. The hotel has a restaurant where you can grab a bite, and nearby there's a pier with boats that can take you to a small, opposite island with white coral sand. This hotel is really just for a 1-2 night stay.

Our stay at Alegria Waterfront Beach House was absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a place that combines natural beauty with peace and quiet, this is it.
The Property
The location is unbeatable. Having a private beach right on your doorstep is a rare luxury; we loved being able to step out and enjoy the water without the usual crowds. It’s incredibly serene and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway.
Exceptional Service
What truly set this experience apart, however, was the property manager, Katrina. She did a fantastic job ensuring our trip was seamless. Katrina went above and beyond by handling all of our activity bookings, including:
Canyoneering adventures
Whale shark tours
Her local knowledge and willingness to help made our logistics stress-free. Her service is highly commendable, and she is a massive asset to this property.
Verdict
Between the stunning, quiet location and Katrina’s top-tier hospitality, I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is old. There are rotten parts in the pool area, and you could fall through the wooden floors. The hotel is far from the city center, and it's impossible to walk to any amenities. However, the hotel's cuisine is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the service is top-notch.

If you are looking for a fancy stay, this isn't it. But if you just need a place to sleep for a very cheap price, Aosmec CampHotel is definitely worth it. It’s perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who are only in Manila for a quick layover or a US Embassy appointment.
The ”rooms” are actually indoor tents, which is a unique experience. Even though you're in a tent, the air conditioning in the main area is strong, so it stays cool enough to sleep comfortably. The location is the best part—you are right in the middle of everything, close to malls and transport. Just keep in mind that since it’s a shared space, it can get a bit noisy when other people move around or unzip their tents. If you bring earplugs and don’t mind sharing a bathroom, you really can’t beat the price. For a low-budget stay, it’s a solid 4/5 stars.

The hotel is very beautiful, like an oasis. Outside the hotel the view is completely different.
The service is excellent, they helped organize a trip to the sharks, called a taxi to the airport, since the grab does not work there. There is a 3 m pool for scuba divers.
There were not enough large towels, they gave 4 small ones.
In the mornings there was no hot water, barely warm.
