carrietravelsWe enjoyed our stay, nice quiet place to rejuvenate away from the hustle and bustle.very affordable for the experience we had here. All the staff will go above and beyond to make your stay hear a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Very clean and very large rooms. There is breakfast available American breakfast only to buy. They supply unlimited water refill station as well as unlimited to and coffee all day. No other food or drinks available for purchase at the property but there is a little local restaurant and shops just a short 1min walk. Being a island stay it is helpful rent a motorbike they also have motorbike, scooter hire for cheap to help you out or willp call a tuk tuk to come and pick you up. The tuk tuk will cost 250peso to 300pesos to restaurants or into the town each way. They are continuing to improve with the property starting to build villas for families to stay

DzhentaoThe hotel is located on a private island. Getting there isn't too difficult, but all the main attractions (sardines, sharks, canyoneering) are quite a distance away. This hotel seems to have been designed for guests who don't want to leave it – a small 'Bounty island' vibe. But it didn't quite hit the mark.
The staff here are constantly smiling. As soon as they see you, they drop what they're doing to greet you. During meals, they approach you every minute to ask questions and tell you about the free 'entertainment' planned for the day. Honestly, it's annoying and doesn't match the status the hotel clearly aims for. In a good hotel, staff are incredibly helpful yet discreet. Here, they can't even clean the room without being noticed. However, you can tell they've been trained this way, rather than it being their natural work style. So, if they were trained differently, these young people would significantly improve the service quality.
Also, don't expect quick responses or help from anyone. It's better to go directly to reception and sort things out yourself. That's the most effective way, otherwise, you might drown in a Kafkaesque castle with a British surrealist twist.
The room we stayed in was magnificent in terms of size and cleanliness. The shower wasn't working well, but they replaced it quickly. When walking around the room, the wardrobe wobbles and makes noise, but these are minor issues. I noticed signs of wood-boring insects in the safe cabinet, but didn't see the insects themselves, so they didn't cause any trouble.
Food. The food here is very poor, compared to all the other places I've visited in the Philippines. A hotel aiming for a high rating shouldn't be serving microwaved store-bought pizza at such a price. If the food is cooked properly (grilled chicken breast, for example), it's invariably oversalted or overspiced. Or both at once. I couldn't find a single dish on the menu that was worth its price or genuinely tasty, except perhaps for the scrambled eggs at breakfast. But that's not enough if you plan to stay on the island all day, is it?
Snorkeling costs 1000 pesos per hour for the boat and 100-200 pesos for equipment (each item separate: mask, fins, aqua shoes). The hotel staff claim the equipment is new, but that's not true. Aqua shoes are essentially unavailable in adult sizes (from 40 and up, we found only two old and torn pairs). The coral reef is dying after the typhoon, but there are still beautiful spots, and my wife and I don't regret snorkeling here. Especially since it was the only activity available on the island.
To sum up, this hotel might suit those who want to isolate themselves from the rest of the world for a resort-style vacation with an average level of service but rather high prices for that level.

A stunning place, very beautiful, clean, careful, the most polite staff. It is not recommended to bring your food and drinks, but there is a restaurant with very delicious dishes and a bar with delicious drinks on the hotel territory. Prices for everything are very pleasant. Staying in the department was very enjoyable, I recommend.

Guest UserThe island was beautiful and we really loved the place. However, I was disappointed with the drone policy. Even though I already had a permit, drone flying was only allowed in one specific area, which did not feel safe because it was surrounded by water. It would be better to provide safer and more flexible flying locations for visitors with approved permits.

PhilUstay here again due to an earlier reservation. I tried the dinner buffet this time. As shown in the photos, the food is really good. The room seems cleaner than last time, so there may be some variability. That said, I would still prefer Bai hotel which is newer and more attentive.

First time staying at this hotel. The staff were very helpful in resolving any issues we had. The hotel has a swimming pool, gym, and spa. Overall, the facilities are excellent. There are many options for breakfast, so you can choose freely. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Anonymous UserThe place is nice, with wide space for couple. Shampoo with conditioner, hand lotion and handwash were provided, also toothbrush with tothpaste. Coffee with creamer and kettle were proviided everyday too. Daily cleaning was done even without request, but dirts on the floor were not well swept. I reuested for a double bed and was granted. Bed, pillows and blankets were comfortably soft. Pool is wide and the roofdeck is accessible, with breathtaking view. Elevator takes time, matbe due to many guests. It's located near bus stations, at the IT park where you can easily ride to places in the city. Overall, a vert satisfactory stay.

The room smelled of cigarettes, probably from the old air conditioning. The hotel is very old and rundown, but if you're looking for something cheap for one night, it's okay. The beds are comfortable, and there's a supermarket and various attractions nearby.

I like how the hotel receptionist are warm and welcoming. The room is also clean and spacious. A suggestion is that there should be a slipper and towel for guest. And bell should be alert whenever there are guest arriving specially if they have many and heavy things because when we arrive for check in it was just us ladies who pushed the cart and mind you it has stairs to enter the front desk. A little kindness won’t hurt. Overall place was nice just put effort on customer service. That would really help.

The reception was already unfriendly. The bungalow was relatively poorly equipped, the remote control for the air conditioning was faulty, low water pressure in the shower, no pool towels, no toiletries apart from a microscopic bar of soap. The view of the countryside was beautiful, but we had already enjoyed it extensively on our three-hour drive from Dalaguete. The grilled fish was killed twice, once by the fisherman's hand and once by its stay in the freezer for several months. The vegetable soup tasted of nothing, actually, just like the fish, inedible. We were not asked for drinks and the water, which we were allowed to fetch ourselves from a dispenser, was a good 30° warm. There were no other guests, the musicless dinner, bathed in the glaring light of the CCTV, gave the impression of a graveyard - completely desolate. We were charged 1200 pesos for this outrage. The impression of poor gastronomic service continued seamlessly at breakfast and culminated in the impertinence of wanting to charge 50 pesos for a second cup of coffee. We had booked for three nights and paid 21.1 Kpesos. I've never had worse value for money in seven months in the Philippines! After the first night, we packed our bags and left the resort. I will refrain from praising the beautiful pool or the great view due to the miserable overall performance. No recommendation.
