"Best family hotel. All staffs from reception, to bell boys to the restaurants are all so welcoming and accommodating. They have this huge kidzone play place for kids and attendants are so caring , attentive and kind. We really enjoyed all the resorts facilities. My son & niece enjoyed the pool , beach and kidzone. U should join their Shangrila membership to get gift like snorkel set use, ice cream or the 2hr pass from kidzone which is really the best of the 3."

"Locals told me this is the most luxurious hotel in Cebu. The opulent lobby and the kind, attentive staff truly impressed me. The view from my room wasn't great as there was construction (probably another hotel) directly across, but the room was cleaned beautifully every day, making my stay very comfortable. I was also very happy to have a bathtub, as hotels with tubs are quite rare in Cebu. This meant the bathroom was quite spacious. Although you could see into the room from the outside, closing the curtains solved that completely. The amenities were excellent, including toothbrushes, razors, combs, and more! I was also pleased to find body lotion. I booked a plan with breakfast included, and I'm so glad I did! There was a wide variety of dishes, and the menu changed slightly every day, so I never got bored. While some dishes had a strong smell, the taste wasn't bad at all. There are pools on the 4th and 5th floors, and the views were absolutely stunning, so I highly recommend checking them out. The pool on the 4th floor is smaller, but the panoramic views are fantastic for taking photos. The gym was also available 24 hours. If I ever go to Cebu again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. It was so wonderful that I didn't want to go back to Japan..."

"The location is still acceptable as going everywhere is beyond easy reach with Grab. Although there are traffic jam, we are still able to reach a destination on time. This hotel is too security in the sense they scan all items when you are back hotel. Everything in the room was good but there are leakage on the tap which make us irritated when using the basin."

"We had a great stay at Seda Cebu while traveling with family. The hotel is definitely good value for money, especially with the free breakfast included. The rooms were comfortable, the location was convenient, and the overall experience was very pleasant. Special thanks to Stephen and Camila from the front desk for their excellent service and warm hospitality. Also to Riza and Ana Amante from the breakfast service crew — they were very accommodating, attentive, and made our mornings even better. "The hotel is located on a private island. Getting there isn't too difficult, but all the main attractions (sardines, sharks, canyoneering) are quite a distance away. This hotel seems to have been designed for guests who don't want to leave it – a small 'Bounty island' vibe. But it didn't quite hit the mark. The staff here are constantly smiling. As soon as they see you, they drop what they're doing to greet you. During meals, they approach you every minute to ask questions and tell you about the free 'entertainment' planned for the day. Honestly, it's annoying and doesn't match the status the hotel clearly aims for. In a good hotel, staff are incredibly helpful yet discreet. Here, they can't even clean the room without being noticed. However, you can tell they've been trained this way, rather than it being their natural work style. So, if they were trained differently, these young people would significantly improve the service quality. Also, don't expect quick responses or help from anyone. It's better to go directly to reception and sort things out yourself. That's the most effective way, otherwise, you might drown in a Kafkaesque castle with a British surrealist twist. The room we stayed in was magnificent in terms of size and cleanliness. The shower wasn't working well, but they replaced it quickly. When walking around the room, the wardrobe wobbles and makes noise, but these are minor issues. I noticed signs of wood-boring insects in the safe cabinet, but didn't see the insects themselves, so they didn't cause any trouble. Food. The food here is very poor, compared to all the other places I've visited in the Philippines. A hotel aiming for a high rating shouldn't be serving microwaved store-bought pizza at such a price. If the food is cooked properly (grilled chicken breast, for example), it's invariably oversalted or overspiced. Or both at once. I couldn't find a single dish on the menu that was worth its price or genuinely tasty, except perhaps for the scrambled eggs at breakfast. But that's not enough if you plan to stay on the island all day, is it? Snorkeling costs 1000 pesos per hour for the boat and 100-200 pesos for equipment (each item separate: mask, fins, aqua shoes). The hotel staff claim the equipment is new, but that's not true. Aqua shoes are essentially unavailable in adult sizes (from 40 and up, we found only two old and torn pairs). The coral reef is dying after the typhoon, but there are still beautiful spots, and my wife and I don't regret snorkeling here. Especially since it was the only activity available on the island. To sum up, this hotel might suit those who want to isolate themselves from the rest of the world for a resort-style vacation with an average level of service but rather high prices for that level."

"Had an amazing stay at Nustar Hotel Cebu. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the sea. The service was exceptional—staff were attentive, warm, and professional. The amenities, especially the pool and dining options, made the experience even more memorable. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Cebu. Highly recommended!"

"Stayed at Radisson Blu Cebu for 4D3N and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is very convenient, as it’s just beside SM City Cebu, making shopping and dining easily accessible. Service from the staff was good—they were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The food was okay, nothing particularly standout but decent enough. However, we were quite disappointed to find that the swimming pool was closed for renovation, and there was no prior notice about this on their website. It would have been helpful to know in advance, as this affected our overall experience. Considering the price we paid, the stay did not feel like good value for the money, especially with limited facilities available. Overall, it’s a comfortable hotel with a great location and good service, but better communication and value would make a difference."

"We chose to stay here a day early after our Bohol vacation because we didn't want to wake up early for the ferry to Cebu Airport. It's about a 50-minute drive from the Cebu pier and 30 minutes from the airport, so the transportation is quite decent. The environment lives up to Sheraton's quality. The hotel seems relatively new, so the facilities are very well maintained, and the views are absolutely stunning. Our room type had two 1.3-meter double beds, perfect for two adults and two children, with one adult sharing a bed with one child. The bathroom is spacious and clearly partitioned, with a well-designed shower, toilet, bathtub, vanity, and storage. The bedroom lighting is excellent, and the night light is a definite plus – just enough light for adults to browse their phones after the kids are asleep without waking them up. Now, for a complaint about the food. We had the dinner buffet at 5cien, and it was, without a doubt, the worst buffet I've ever had. Not a single dish was to my taste. The selection wasn't extensive to begin with, and then the food itself was just bad. It really doesn't justify the price of approximately 235 RMB per person. I tried everything, and it was practically inedible and a waste of ingredients. In the end, I had no choice but to eat the steamed dishes, but even those felt a bit undercooked. Because of that evening's experience, my expectations for breakfast the next day were very low. I didn't dare to hope for anything good, just ate a little and quickly checked out. Breakfast was slightly better than dinner, but that's about all I can say."

"Good experience as it is a 5 star hotel but I think they lack manpower as we trainees only most of the time. Hopefully they can provide more good service in the bar lounge area and atleast have artist musicians like other hotels even Dusit Thani Davao have also."

"Хорошая 5ка с большим бассейном, собственной конюшней, фермой, небольшим зоопарком, прекрасным фитнес залом, большим бассейном и треком с квадроциклами, завтрак - шведский стол, не очень разнообразный, но все необходимое есть, достаточно скромно, но вкусно. Персонал вежливый, приветливый и гостеприимный. Цены в ресторане и на услуги SPA максимально демократичные (для 5* отеля). Есть как здание с номерами, так и отдельные виллы с собственными бассейнами. Вилла отличная, просторная, с огромной кроватью, ванной комнатой, множеством окон, достаточно большим (для личного) бассейном и прекрасным видом на море. Береговая линия в наш визит была вся в мусоре, что полностью исключало желание купаться в море (благо, был личный бассейн на вилле, а так же большой общий бассейн отеля), так же территория вся была засыпана листьями от фикусов, которых на территории достаточно много, сделаю предположение, что связано это было с недавними тайфунами, к берегу принесло много водорослей, веток и мусора с моря. Персонал отеля активно занимался уборкой весь период нашего пребывания в отеле. В целом, территория отеля ухоженная, симпатичная, газоны подстрижены, деревья ухожены, а территория, на минуточку, очень большая, что требует большого количества персонала на ее поддержание."
