The room doors close automatically in a noisy slam, making it hard to sleep when your neighbours enter/exit their rooms at night Inside of clothes cupboard was dusty and moldy , i refuse to hang my clothes inside. Some furnishing is old or discoloured or rusty.   No hanging rack in the room to hang up your jacket to air etc. Several lights are spoilt and many of the buttons don't seem to connect to anything. Airconditioning blows directly at the bed, difficult to sleep for those with sensitive nose Generally serviceable. Pillow, sheets and bed was clean. Twin bedroom 605 was quiet despite having a window facing the main road, which also let's in good sunlight during the day. A short easy walk from the station with many food options, 2 grocery stall and a 7-11 round the corner. Closest MTR station is 2 stops from shopping area.

The place is good. The people are friendly 😉

I had stayed in this hotel three to four times, it is clean, good location and economical.

Good hotel in sham Sui po

an average budget hotel price wise but size, amenities etc are bordering on a low end budget hotel. would not recommend.

The Wi-Fi in the room was completely unusable, and the wallpaper was peeling off.

Metroplace Boutique Hotel, 307 Lai Chi Koi Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong. ************************* Room is well-set up for such a tiny room, but for Hong Kong the price is reasonable and the arrangement is very sensible. Sham Shui Po subway is only 4 blocks away, subway entrance A2 or C2. Only five blocks from the Dragon Center, an indoor mall of 9 floors. Excellent restaurants on 9th floor.

This place was ok, smelt funny. Reception was really friendly. Got a free upgrade so can’t complain.

Environment: Good and convenient. Service: Warm and enthusiastic. Facilities: Comprehensive. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy.

the location is bad and there is big smell of smoke in the room

Dirty, smell old wet dog. Walls dirty. I think aircon wasn't cleaned long time. Small flies in room - room without open windows. Towels ok. For emergency book. Outside room ok.

Overall, it's not great value for money. The hygiene was poor, the room was small, the location was inconvenient, and it was overpriced.

Surprisingly big for a single room in Hong Kong. Wasn't expecting much but comfortable enough. Efficient aircon. WiFi signal safe and consistent. Bathroom has separated shower cabinet with wash basin and racks plus ventilation and good lighting. Also quite a lot of cstorage space.

It will take around 5 minute walk from Sham shui po station. The staff was accommodating and nice as I requested for non smoking room. The room was spacious enough for 2 people. Single bed is literally for one person. Amenities only have soap, shower gel, towel and a hairdryer. There's also a cabinet for putting the clothes. Overall, it was a nice experience for short term stay
