The floor of the room is made of wood, and the soundproofing is average, but I slept with earplugs and it didn't affect me; the breakfast was simple, but the front desk gentleman was very enthusiastic, greeting me every day and answering all my questions; there are several restaurants within a three-minute walk, and a supermarket within five or six minutes; there is a bus stop four minutes after turning right when you go to the airport, and it takes about ten minutes to get to Gatwick Airport, which is very convenient.

This was a really nice place. The room was spacious, and everything looked very nice. The host was able to book us a taxi to the airport for a decent price (cash only). The journey to the airport was very brief. The strange thing about it was that the shower had no door separating it from the bedroom, which is a bit strange for a room with two twin beds. Fine for a couple, but a bit awkward in other situations. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant place to stay near the airport!

Good location, adequate sized room for family of 4. Good bathroom. Polite and helpful owner. Tight parking. Incredibly hot rooms with no ventilation. Despite it being a frosty December night, we had to have a fan on all night, heating turned to '0' and window open about 3" (the most it would open) but were still uncomfortable. Wafer thin walls allowed every exaggerated word of insane woman in next room's repeated phone calls to be heard until gone 3am. Worse nights sleep ever!

The proprietor was not present when we arrived, but was able to buzz us in remotely. The room was very attractive and comfortable, but the heat did not come on in the house until several hours after we arrived. Breakfast was basic and vegetarian. The location was excellent for walking to a wide variety of appealing restaurants for dinner.

The manager, Quasim, picked me up from the airport very quickly, and provided an excellent itinerary and directions, allowing me to see many attractions in nearby London in the very short time I had. He even drove me to the train station, and helped me purchase a travel pass, so that I could catch the train on time.

The property was very close to Gatwick airport and in quiet road. We were given a warm welcome by Quasim. Room was very clean and adequate for an overnight stay. Parking excellent.
What I didn't like was that a wet towel had been left on back of entry door, probably missed by housekeeping. The room also smelled of stale smoke. I understand this is illegal in hotels and guest houses so perhaps there is something else that smells similar?
I would stay again although perhaps not in room 6 due to the smell.
