Nice place, beautiful setting, but very poor service in all aspects. Employees are way too relaxed, requestes are simply ignored by the hotel reception, timing of responses are completely unsatisfactory. Installations are old and maintenance is inadequate. Leaking air conditioning at the Aquitania suites, old cloth at the bedrooms, towels are 10 years old. Restaurants structure is poor, particularly at the beach. Plastic chairs are broken, nearly not enough sun umbrellas, it takes forever to be served, even if you want just water. Excellent bonding experience with my kids, but definitely a hotel that needs substantial maintenance and revamp.

This hotel is run down and poor management the staff strict rules and are unwilling to accommodate any guest requests place is dirty and the food is not good, my recommendation is to go elsewhere to avoid disappointment. The decor is outdated. The location is hilly far away from restaurants and shops. This place lacks infrastructure and service

Good experience, great location, staff very friendly and helpfull, place is a little dated but still highly recommendable for a great beach in walking distance and all the amenities of a great hotel. I’d go there again for sure.

It didn't meet our expectations. There was a large group at the weekend, so I think that's why we stayed "in an annex" and not in the Hotel building. The room facing the sea, rather small, the door was struggling to open, the shower stall needed a good cleaning, a lot of mud. The shower is still great! There was no support to put soap, etc... Perrengue! Because of the Saturday and Sunday group (lunch), self service, varied medium and little replacement. Dinner on Sunday and lunch on Monday are very good, a la carte. Great breakfast! Attentive staff, with the exception of a waitress who ordered a beer and she looked at me as if I had spoken Greek! We decided to use the heated pool on Monday morning and I think due to the lack of movement it was turned off. Anyway, we expected much more...

The daily rate does not match the conditions found. Hotel in urgent need of renovation and cleaning. Wall leaking air conditioning, dirty walls with cracks and cobwebs. Box with clogged drain, a lot of slime in the grouts.

Good hotel, located in the middle of a condominium with several apartment buildings. Incredible view of the sea of Angra and Ilha Grande. Two problems: - those old wall-mounted air conditioners (makes a deafening noise) and the toilet clogged and they didn't tell you to unclog it for 2 nights. As we were in 2 apartments (conjoined), we didn't complain anymore. Very good breakfast and dinner too.
