"The hotel's location is a bit remote, but that's typical for hot spring hotels. I communicated with the front desk a few days before arrival. I sent them my high-speed rail information and scheduled a pickup at Changbaishan Station. So, despite the somewhat remote location, the hotel's shuttle service was excellent. The front desk staff were also very good. When I arrived, I had intended for the front desk to book a rafting trip for me, but it turned out the hotel's contract with the rafting company had expired, so we had to sort it out ourselves. (I had inquired with the front desk a week prior, and they said it could be arranged there. I was surprised to find upon arrival that the hotel had just canceled its contract with the rafting company.) I want to be clear, I'm not blaming the hotel; it was just bad luck. I do hope the hotel can continue to assist out-of-towners in the future, as foreigners often face difficulties booking things in China without local phone numbers. I wanted to see Tianchi Lake, but it was closed all three days I was there. Rafting was also out. So, I ended up staying at the hotel. However, I enjoyed several hot spring baths, visited the gym, and the hotel can also arrange skiing for you. We didn't go skiing because we had elderly people with us. So, staying at the hotel wasn't bad at all. There are only two restaurants: a Korean restaurant and the hotel's buffet. The food was good, but the dinner shrimp seemed to be limited. I arrived at 7:30 PM and only got two shrimp, while my dad got five. Then there were none left, and the restaurant staff didn't replenish them. The room was very large and clean. I particularly liked the rooms at this hotel. The hot spring has both indoor and outdoor sections. I might return in the future."

"The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient, making the check-in process quick and efficient. They were also very responsive to any requests I had. The hotel's overall environment was clean and tidy, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The value for money far exceeded my expectations. Plus, the sofa has a charging port! It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. My stay was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!"

"This hot spring hotel is only a ten-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, making it perfect if you don't want to travel far into the mountains for a soak. I highly recommend the outdoor hot springs; there are far fewer people than indoors, and it's not cold at all if you briefly step out of the water – just be careful not to get your hair wet. The breakfast selection was quite diverse. Aside from the hot springs and various perks, the hotel itself is pretty average. The room decor is very plain, there are no smart controls, and not even a smart toilet. The most critical issue is the terrible soundproofing; you can hear everything happening outside the door crystal clear."

"Very good stay here. The staff will contact you few days before check in to confirm your arrival as there will be driver to pick you up at the train station. Its free. The reception staff even helped us book Changbaishan ticket for the next day. So its very convenient for us tourist whom are not very familiar. Even booked the driver to fetch us to multiple attractions and location. Paid a good price. Very good driver. However take note which car the driver is driving as i paid a premium for a big car for two of us. Breakfast was alright nothing amazing. Location is very good. Walkable to Elderweiss roughly 10minutes away and to YungDing street. Can DIDI anywhere so cheap. Theres halal pull noodle in walking distance. So tasty. So near to Changbaishan Mountain north visitor center like 5minutes drive or 15min walk"

"This isn't my first time staying at an Atour Hotel, and I'm always extremely satisfied with their facilities and service. This particular one in Changbai Mountain was, as always, excellent. The room facilities are very new, and the location is fantastic – super convenient for getting anywhere. Whether it's dining in the city center or going to the Edelweiss restaurant nearby, everything is within walking distance. The hotel service is very thoughtful; they even offer airport pick-up."

"The accommodation and dining at Mei Ju were quite good, located in an independent building next to a small park. We chose a deluxe twin room with a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows facing the park, offering a nice view. The TV was large, but watching movies required a membership. The location was a bit far from the main street, so the front desk staff helped us contact the hotel driver to take us to the main street for 10 yuan, which was about the same price as a taxi and more convenient. However, the hotel's travel butler was a bit arrogant. We had called the front desk in advance to book a ride to the high-speed rail station. The next day, when we came down on time, the butler, with his nose in the air, said there was no such service. I showed him the ”hotel confirmation letter,” and he claimed it was a platform service and had nothing to do with the hotel. After some argument, and fearing we'd be late, we decided to call a taxi. Then he said that even though there was no such service, he could arrange for someone to take us. We didn't want this 'charity,' but we couldn't get a taxi on short notice, so we ended up taking his arranged ride. When booking a hotel, make sure to confirm whether the services listed on the hotel confirmation letter are actually valid, so your travel mood isn't ruined like ours."

"Had an amazing time soaking in the hot springs here; the Changbai Mountain hot springs are truly delightful. The VIP access is an absolute lifesaver – no need to wake up early to visit Changbai Mountain! The butler service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and they even upgraded us to a mountain view room for free, which offered stunning views. They also helped us book the buffet and arranged a car to town. Their responses were super prompt. The only minor points were that the hotel mattress was a bit soft for my liking, and I was surprised there were no complimentary drinks or welcome fruit in the mini-bar. Other than that, everything was perfect!"

"This hotel is incredibly comfortable! I'd highly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Changbai Mountain. The atmosphere and environment are fantastic, and all the facilities are brand new. Our butler, Xiao Yu, was super attentive, making sure our drinking water was always replenished promptly. They even contacted us in advance to arrange high-speed train pick-up. The hotel's breakfast spread is also incredibly rich and delicious – I loved it! I originally planned to stay another night, but my schedule was too tight, so I had to rush off. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The room was spotless, spacious, and warm, and the bathroom had no unpleasant smells. The bedding was soft, and housekeeping cleaned regularly. The hotel reception staff were also incredibly welcoming; they greeted us every time we left and returned and even offered sightseeing suggestions. We even received a cute little duck clip for making snow ducks upon check-in! 👍🏻 The best part, though, was the hotel's driver, who was exceptionally kind. Not only did he provide free pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station, but he also drove us to and from tourist spots. Sometimes, when taxis were hard to find, he'd even pick us up and drop us off at restaurants, which was a huge help in a town where getting a cab can be tricky. The UTV and horse riding activities recommended by the hotel were also a lot of fun and very reasonably priced. Lastly, the hotel's ginger soup was delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"
