"It's a village with a lot of feel and a B&B with a lot of atmosphere. There aren't many old houses in the village, but it's super impressive. I booked a special room. The housekeeper upgraded me to a loft. The room is not big. The bedroom is upstairs and there is a sofa and coffee table downstairs. You can watch TV and rest without disturbing each other. I like it very much. The bedding is also very clean. It is a great value for having such conditions in the village. . The uncle who picked up our luggage was very enthusiastic. He was an elder in the village. He drove a tricycle to pick us up. It was a pleasant surprise. He also gave us good travel advice. Everyone we met in Xixinan was as friendly as family, friends and elders. , the food was also delicious. I was too hungry and didn’t have time to take pictures. I emptied everything. I’ll stay at your place next time I come."

"Staying one night at this hotel turned out to be a fortunate decision — I will definitely return. The staff were kind and attentive, the room was clean and well-maintained, the buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food, and the location was ideal for accessing nearby scenic spots. Among the many things that impressed me, the most remarkable was the attentiveness of the staff. They were genuinely considerate, quickly recognizing our needs and going out of their way to assist. It’s clear that the hotel’s policies support and empower the team to deliver thoughtful service. Let me share one memorable experience: My son and I arrived at the hotel completely soaked from unexpected rain. The front desk promptly arranged a warm, comfortable room for us and even allowed check-in several hours earlier than usual. The room had a compact yet powerful clothes dryer that quickly dried our wet clothes. A staff member also brought us a shoe dryer and a cup of hot tea to help us warm up. Throughout our stay, the staff kept us updated via the WeChat app with helpful information — including weather forecasts, buffet reservation updates, and events like a cultural performance in the lobby. We were also offered thoughtful perks, such as a complimentary massage chair coupon. Although the cloudy weather prevented us from catching the sunset or sunrise at Guangming Peak, the excellent experience at the hotel convinced us to return this fall to try again. ⸻ What I Enjoyed: 1. A cozy coffee shop with around 10 tables in the lobby — perfect for relaxing with my son after dinner. 2. Snickers bars and Korean Choco Pies from a small self-service snack corner in the lobby. 3. Thoughtful in-room extras beyond standard amenities: two umbrellas, thermal jackets, and a foot bath bucket — great for unwinding after hiking. 4. Tasty fast food just 50 meters from the hotel — two hamburgers, three chicken wings, and crispy fries from nearby snack booths. These paired perfectly with two cold cans of refreshing Qingdao beer from the coffee shop fridge. 5. Guangming Peak — around 1,800 meters above sea level and only 500 meters from the hotel. The uphill stone steps took me 15–20 minutes to climb. 6. Xihai Cable Car Station — located about 15 minutes on foot from the hotel, offering another scenic way to explore the mountain."

"Super location and very nice staff. We ordered an airport pickup to the hotel with the trip app and our driver contacted the hotel to let them know when we arrived so that a staff member could pick us up by the road. Super cozy streets around the hotel. My room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good, noodles and dumplings. On our second day we asked the staff to recommend a driver to take us to different hot spots and we got a very nice driver at an affordable price. Will definitely stay here again."

"I cannot praise this accommodation enough. The owner Sister Zhu went above and beyond (like way beyond) to ensure I had an amazing stay in Huangshan. From helping me organize my day trips (even after check out), finding drivers, to just making sure I see the local highlights. Her enthusiasm made my stay really memorable! The accommodation itself is really well situated on Old Street and my room was quite comfy (amenities as expected for price point). Good restaurants and shops are a stones throw away and I enjoyed walking through Old Street at night when it was more quiet. I would definitely recommend this place, especially because of Sister Zhu!"

"The location is quite tricky as there are 2 similar hotel names so you need to pick the correct one for the taxi. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust and ended up hot all the time. When we came back late, no one answered the entrance and we were stuck waiting. In the positive side, the staff does appear trying their best to meet our needs."

"We spent 2 nights at the Crowne Plaza on our trip to see the Huangshan Mountains. The location is not very ideal however. The staff were kind enough to help us English speakers. Of course there were some misunderstandings, but they accommodated as best they could. Breakfast was ok too, noodles were the best."

"We booked this place to stay the night before our overnight trip to Huangshan. The hotel is located between the Tangkou bus station and the Huangshan entrance gates, so you might have to take another bus or taxi (which however are very cheap to get there. The shuttle bus you need to take in the morning is in walking distance though. Upon arrival, the host gave us a free upgrade after a friendly conversation and a lot of good advice for the following trip to the mountain. The room we stayed in was probably one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in on our travels in Asia, and definitely the best value for money so far. The hotel also offers free luggage storage and offered us to borrow some hiking poles (which we unfortunately forgot in the morning). When we came back the day after, we were even allowed to take a quick shower before getting on our Taxi out of town. Overall, we couldnt have wished for a better stay and would recommend anyone visiting Huangshan to stay here."

"This hotel is also great. Children especially like it. Not only can they go to the nearby orchard to pick dragon fruits and grapes, but they can also feed koi and play in the small swimming pool. It is simply a paradise for children. The complimentary afternoon tea and desserts in the room in the afternoon were very good, and the breakfast was also very rich. The dinner and barbecue we had in the store were really great. The hotel's pick-up and drop-off service is also very considerate."

"When we arrived in the hot sun, the girl who picked us up from the B&B was already waiting for us. When we stepped into the hall, the breeze with the subtle fragrance of wood blew on our faces. The century-old Hui-style beams and pillars contrasted with the contemporary design. The girl stroked the carved window lattices with her fingertips and told the story of five generations guarding this old house. The moonlight in southern Anhui had not yet climbed over the horse-head wall. Seeing that we were coming back late, she offered us water and said, ”It's good to be a little tipsy, but it's better to quench your thirst.” It was very considerate and lovely. The bowl of noodles with toppings in the morning light was so fresh that I missed the runny fried eggs that I hadn't tasted yet, which added a lovely blank space to this ink painting-like stop."
