"Great place to stay in beautiful Reykjavik and it's very fairly priced compared to other accommodation in the city. The concept is mid-way between a hostel and a hotel. Yes, the rooms are small. But they are private, with shared bathrooms and private showers. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. They are always there to help. The hot tub is an excellent addition as well. The only suggestions would be: provide a plug socket next to the bed (although, there is a USB-C and a standard USB charger), provide a slightly larger desk to fit your suitcase and perhaps a basic chair. Otherwise, the place is excellent and I'd definitely recommend it for your visit to Reykjavik!"

"This apartment is highly recommended. The location is excellent, right in the city center and close to the bus meeting point. Most importantly, the room is clean and tidy, with a fully equipped kitchen, including various cookware and a dishwasher. There’s also a washing machine and a dryer. The toiletries are from L’Occitane, which was a delightful surprise. I highly recommend it!"

"Free parking is available in the city, and this hotel is very cost-effective. It is not far from anywhere. Of course, Lei City is very small. There were many people at breakfast, but it should be considered a standard Western breakfast."

"The owner of this hostel is really friendly. Additionally, the location is great, as you can see the sea (or more accurately, the ocean) right outside. The overall facilities are very complete, with rooms featuring password locks and safes for storing personal items (also password-controlled). The environment is very clean. I really like it. The kitchen space is also very spacious. The price is also quite reasonable. Overall, it offers great value for money."

"Overall it was good, especially the cathedral was so close, I felt safe living in this place, the bedding was also very good and comfortable. I just felt that my deluxe double room was not luxurious enough, and it was a little different from the price I paid before and after. The breakfast was too thin, and it was prepared in advance according to the order I chose the day before and placed on a tray for the diners, but at least they should tell me to take it if it was not enough."

"The location is easily accessible by public transit. It’s a self-service hotel, so guests must be sure to reach out if they haven’t received checkin instructions. There are staff at the hotel and on call who are very friendly and helpful about routine issues which arise. The included breakfast buffet is remarkable!!!"

"This was our second stay here, so we knew what to expect this time around. We had a room with no window, which I do not at all recommend! There was zero temperature control, and it got very hot very quickly. The room opens up to the hallway, so zero privacy, and lots of people peeing into our room while we were trying to just cool the place down. There is literally not enough space on the floor to open your luggage. So, we were prepared this time and got all of our clothes out and everything in the parking lot, and just left her stuff in the car. This way, we had the tiniest walkway to move around to get from the bed to the bathroom, but that was literally it. The staff was helpful and what they could, but there’s nothing they can do about a hot room with no ventilation. But, around seven in the morning, the cleaning staff came to the room next-door and sounded like they were having a party. I could distinctly hear three different voices and every word they were saying, along with doors, slamming, and lots of excessive noise that woke us up way sooner than we needed to before our flight. I sleep with earplugs to avoid this, and even through the earplugs, I could make out every word these cleaners were saying. Not the most respectful staff, even after I woke up, asked them to tone it down, they just ignored me and went on with their Excessive noise. Aside from finding plenty of hair all over the room, it was pretty clean, but the shower is exceptionally small. I’m a tiny person, so it wasn’t terrible for me, but I could not at all extend my arms and it made for a very rushed shower. The elevator works, and there are actually two, but if the hotel is full, I recommend taking the stairs, even up to the sixth floor. I once waited 16 minutes for the lift, and eventually just decided to take the stairs. All around, it’s a place to stay, and I’m sure the rooms with windows are much better, but I do not recommend this hotel overall."

"Hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. hotel is tidy . I was staying with my wife just for 2 nights and we both are satisfied. Location was great . Hotel window view was amazing .only 8-10 minutes walking distance from bus station. Just 15-18 minutes walking distance from famous Hallgrimskirkja church, rainbow street.below I uploaded some pictures from window.Highly recommended 😍"

"Location was great and super central. Check-in was swift. There were plenty of toilets and 2 separate showers which were clean. However, in one shower room, the holder for the shower head was broken and so had to hold it whilst showering which wasn’t the best. Common room was clean with kettle, hob,microwave, and fridge. Overall was a comfortable stay for a night."
