Stunning views, beautiful food, excellent service, family friendly, clean & welcoming! We stayed here August 2023 with our 2 children aged 8 & 11 and we are all saying we would love to go back. This family run hotel is nothing short of delightful and we would highly recommend it for couples or families. There is a bit of walking involved up some steep steps & slopes if you wish to explore the area on foot but the hotel does provide a shuttle bus service. However, its also the perfect place to soak up the amazing views, chill by the pool & indulge in some gorgeous food.

I spent week here with a friend. Our room was lovely, with a nice terrace with sunloungers just outside. There are plenty of sunloungers by the pool too, with a bar to one side (great bar staff) and the restaurant/dining room along the far side. The pool was fairly cool but fine once you were in the water. I liked the wide steps down into the water. So much easier for someone like me with some mobility issues. The restaurant where breakfast was served every morning was light and airy. The staff were great, welcoming, friendly and helpful. (sorry I didn't ask for names because they all deserve a mention). We had dinner twice at the hotel rather than go into town to eat. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The bus (No.13) into town cost just over one euro, buy your ticket from hotel reception beforehand. A fantastic service provided by the hotel was the free shuttle back to the hotel which runs from 2100 until midnight. This was great and we used it a lot. All in all, thank you for a lovely, relaxing, welcoming stay and would recommend for a holiday in Ischia.

I am more than happy with my experience at the hotel. As I am currently living in London I was looking for a sunny and relaxing Italian holiday, and my staying at the Hotel Parco di Cartaromana has exceeded all my expectations. From the splendid view to the castle, the clean and spacious room, to the delicious food and kind staff, I absolute recommend this hotel for a holiday in Ischia. Looking forward to be there again.

Our staying at Hotel Parco Cartaromana was simply amazing. The hotel is located on a hill with a wonderful view of the Aragonese castle and it's equipped with 3 swimming pools, all perfectly working and clean everyday. The food served for dinner was delicious (congrats to the Chef Michele) and linked to Italian tradition. Rooms are spacious and clean. What to say about the hospitality? A big THANK to Gioacchino and his staff (Luigi and Gennaro) who treated us like we were at home. Much better than our expectations and absolutely value for money. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Ourgirls loved this place. The pool in particular. They declared it to be by far the best hotel of our trips From my (adult) perspective The pros: * the pool (3 pools at different temperatures. Some bigger, some small, but overall pretty nice) * the view (honestly, amazing) * no moscitos (check out my other review) * honestly surprisingly good dinner for a half-pension * really very very friendly service. Like 10/10 The cons: * Room was a bit “bleak” - but fine overall * The sauna was luke warm (seems it was set to 55c?) * Breakfast was disappointing. I had read about fresh orange juice (instead there was machine-powered-juice) and the scrambled eggs were overcooked So all down side points: easy to resolve. Overall, I would come back

First time in Ischia, we stayed in Parco Cartaromana for a week. Clean hotel, courteous and helpful staff and excellent cuisine !!! Not to mention the view of the Aragonese Castle… like a postcard! The shuttle service is very useful to get to the center. A week of pure relaxation!

Excellent hotel in Ischia. The hotel is located just above Ischia Ponte with a spectacular view of the Aragonese castle. The style of the hotel is Mediterranean. It has two spotless swimming pools on the outside from which you can see the Aragonese castle and one inside with a sauna. The rooms are clean and with all the essentials. The services are perfect: 1) free taxi made available by the hotel from 9 to 12 midnight which takes you to Ischia Porto or Ischia Ponte; 2) bar service always active by the pool with Francesco, prepared and nice 3) excellent restaurant because I have never eaten so well in a hotel restaurant. The guys in the dining room were super friendly, nice and prepared but a special mention goes to the head nurse Gioacchino who worked to make sure my mother who is celic found everything gluten-free (everything was excellent even gluten-free which is no small thing as it is not yet all the structures have this service) 4) free guarded parking The only flaw are the mattresses that are a little uncomfortable at least for us, since we are used to memory foam (it is only for this that I give 4 out of 5 stars). Last but not least the price: 3 people on half board including drinks, tourist tax and tennis match €760, 5 nights. What to say? I highly recommend it to everyone.
