"The cleanliness was just okay. We stayed in Guanlan, and the living room and kitchen were fairly clean. However, the drain in the bathroom of the only twin room had a strong odor, which could still be smelled even with the door closed! The other three rooms were quite small. The living room was the best part, very spacious, but the bedrooms were lacking, essentially just a bed and nothing else. And that twin room with a bathroom smelled really bad 😓.
The location was good, right in the city center, and food delivery could come straight up to the apartment, which was convenient – definitely a highlight. In the morning, you could see the May Fourth Square buildings. From one side of the living room, you could catch a glimpse of the sea, though it was a somewhat limited view. Still, all the rooms offered some kind of view.
We arrived at 11 PM, and the housekeeper was still there, thoughtfully showing us to our room, which was much appreciated. Anything we needed, we could just message via WeChat, and it would be delivered! Plus, parking was 5 yuan an hour, with a cap of 25 yuan.
Overall, it was neither particularly good nor bad. Since we were traveling with pets, we could only book a homestay, but I probably wouldn't consider staying here again next time."
