"The hotel is next to the zoo and the train station and the location is very convenient. Very old hotel, the room has heating and is very comfortable in winter. Because the rack is relatively high, the room is also spacious. Compared with many European hotels, the room size is large. The hotel has a parking lot, 18 euros a night, which is more convenient for self-driving."

"The environment in the hotel is very good and very quiet. The area of the room is quite large, and the two big men dragging 5 boxes to check in is not too crowded. The toilet is very clean. The front desk is very serious, after check-in will be very detailed introduction to the network, the matters needing attention around the hotel and so on. The hotel is about 5 minutes' walk from hbf, so the traffic is very convenient. The only problem comes from the surrounding environment of the hotel. The hbf neighborhood is notoriously messy. Be careful of thieves and those who fly the leaves when you go out, especially during the epidemic. But the hotel is very quiet and safe."

The women there were very friendly. Personally, I couldn't sleep very well because the mattress was too hard for me.
Unfortunately, the toilet brush was broken and the catch in the sink was broken and I couldn't open it after closing it. Thank God I had tweezers with me and managed to remove the plug. A squeegee for the shower floor would have been nice so that everything wasn't under water. Otherwise, the fan was pleasantly cool.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and tidy, very nice, the facilities are very new, it is a chain hotel, and it has air conditioning. The staff are of high quality. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the train station, and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the Royal Palace and the central city. There is an ancient conservatory of music just a 5-minute walk next to the hotel. It is recommended to visit it. There are Western restaurants, mountain biking venues, and a parent-child playground next to the school. Eat, chat, and drink some wine, very European.

GGuest UserThis is the second time we stayed here travelling back from the uk to Italy. Easy to find, clean comfortable and a good atmosphere. A great night’s sleep. Good parking and free which is always a bonus because we were travelling in a big van!
Only one thing I missed is a kettle in the room but hey Ho.

Unfortunately, the service force in the breakfast room appeared a bit upset and has their own ideas of who should sit where to keep their paths as short as possible. Humanly understandable, but in such a house at the service not very happy.

TTIANYIGood location for a four star hotel. The hotel is close to the commercial area and the surrounding environment is also very good. Calling a taxi from the main fire is almost 9 euros. The hotel is very hygienic and the front desk staff is very friendly. The hotel is fully equipped with a gym. It’s just that the texture of the interior decoration is better. Later, Karu will choose to live here.

FFortiswongVery large room and with all facilities you need. There is a supermarket nearby where you can get all food and drinks. Taxis from train station is only ECU 8- , some driver may not like to go for such short distance and teach/ ask you to take the tram. A beautiful peaceful small town to relax.

WWalter HenryThis is a old fashioned split level apartment. The bedroom is upstairs, accessible by a half staircase which may be difficult to manage for elderly people or those with limited mobility. Even for the sprightly care must be taken when descending in the night, eg to go to the bathroom. Otherwise the bedroom is nice, with a tv and a skylight. Downstairs the half-staircase ends in the little hallway with suitcase rack, a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower (old german style), and a small kitchenette with microwave and two hobs and refrigerator. The provided crockery and pots were clean and everything worked ok. The front room is a small sitting room with tv, two rather worn (with peeling plastic covers) chairs, and two tables. There was also a very small balcony with two plastic chairs. So everything was there, it was just a bit old fashioned and some things were a bit worn. Overall however it was clean and functional.

SSUSAN TOMIf we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service.
The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had.
Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room.
The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that.
The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

GGuest UserLocation is Uber central. It is infact quite excellently situated. Staff are superb. Very friendly and helpful indeed. The price was very good, and based on that - the value is about as good as it gets in Germany. Room contained a desk, chair, TV, longer chair, bed side lamp, reading lamp, multiple outlets, 2x towel, 1x bath mat and complimentary shampoo soap at the sink and shower. There were multiple radiators at your disposal and tissue paper and bathroom paper. The single room was a good sized with a large window. Everything was clean. There was a place to store bicycles or indeed borrow those offered. Breakfast was available though I didn't try. There is also an elevator. Again...for the price paid it is deserving of 5/5.
