"Get off the train and walk for two minutes to the hotel. I saw a bus waiting outside the hotel to go to Blue Mountain Scenic World and stop at the echo point. After checking in, we took a ride to echo point and chose the hiking route. The scenery was beautiful. I went to the Coles supermarket when I came back. It's not far from the hotel and can be found within five minutes. The transportation is too convenient. There are many elderly people staying in the hotel. The breakfast is relatively simple but enough to fill you up. The sound insulation is slightly poor and the cleanliness is okay. The price and environment of tourist attractions are good."
"Old hotel, urgent need for renovation.
Very old carpet, very old furniture.
Insects dead and alive all the edges of carpet, photos attached.
If you move old furniture you will see more.
Cob webs in the ceiling.
Was given room number 42,
not 54m as promised in booking. Left the property after one night, waiting for full refund for second night promised by Manager / Staff."
"The hotel is located on the edge of the town centre, ten minutes walk from the train station, and the surrounding supermarkets and restaurants are complete. The facilities are old but the overall decoration is still very retro and the staff are very welcoming. Breakfast is very common Australian food and not very tasty, but still acceptable."

"The location is not in Katoomba town, 4 kilometers away from the railway station, but the rooms are large, the facilities are complete, the hygiene is good, and the price is very suitable for temporary accommodation during driving tours."
"During working hours, there is no one at the front desk, telephone contact, the room is not locked, the room has been reserved, and everything is smooth."
"It is very nice and big room for 4, one Q bed and 2 single beds. And close to many restaurants.
Easy to go to see the Three Sisters.
Thanks for helping us check in late.
Thanks very much. See you."
"Hotel Blue is classic, old hotel with a lot of character. Although the hotel is dated, we were relieved to find that the room was recently refurbished, with AC and great amenities. I couldn’t fault the stay, and would certainly return. Fantastic location in Katoomba!"
"10 stars! Best accommodation in blue mountain! Even better, it’s close with the town! I would love to come back again and stay at this place. Totally amazing!"
"The room was beautiful and well cut. It was very clean and wonderfully preheated.
Although we arrived before the reception end, the reception was unsafe and the conversation via a communication button was very unfriendly. When a pronounced, loud persistent peifton for about 2 1/2 hours all the hotel floated, despite multiple contacts with this button, a solution to this very unfriendly problem was rejected. The room was beautiful as I said, but the way to deal with guests was impossible.
Therefore, we would not stay there anymore."
"Location is great! Right next to the train station so you can walk to it. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. This hotel is near most of the restaurants in the area. There is a bus stop nearby that will take you to the tourist areas. The hotel was recently remodeled and they are still remodeling some. The remodels are very nice and the beds were comfy. The breakfast is a must have and the staff there is very friendly as well."

Great
GGuest UserThey should make a policy where people in the rooms should not be allowed to store smelly shoes and clothes. I checked out before the second paid night as it was terrible. They should make a room for smelly items that can be stored in fresh air to be used the next day. Unacceptable.
JJ aus BerlinWonderful ensemble of partly historical buildings in great Mountain scenery. Very nice indoor & outdoor pools. Breakfast area could be a bit more spacious and quiet, though.
FFrequent Flyer FyRooms are very outdated at this hotel. Stains on the carpet. Our room was facing the pool side, was quite noisy from kids screaming in the morning. The breakfast had a great view, but the breakfast itself wasn’t great. Scrambled eggs were watery and overdone. The facilities for kids were great. Had fun in the giant slide in the garden, the pool, the mirror maze and the arcade. But all facilities had to be closed by 12pm for an event on the Sunday (no notice of this whatsoever before or after I booked this hotel). Overall this is a family resort but rooms are pretty tired.
GGuest UserA little disappointed. On arrival room ac did not work. Had to get hotel staff to clean the filter which was full of dust.
There was a stale smell from the carpet, so had to leave patio door open for first 30 minutes each time we arrived. We did not create a fuss since we were only there for 2 nights.
There were all the all the things like microwave, toaster, etc. The location is good with walking distance to restaurants etc.
GGuest UserThe hotel is the oldest house in the town, and it has a lot of history.
The hall below is open as a public space, and it feels especially good to drink wine by the fireplace at night.
It is within walking distance of the train station, but it is in the opposite direction of the town's commercial street. If you are alone, it is a bit panic to walk back to the hotel at night. The advantage is that it is very quiet.
WWENZHEThis motel is in a good location, very close to Leura town and the Three Sisters Peak, but the only bad place is that all the rooms are on the side of the road, there is a big van at night, which is quite affecting sleep. It is not recommended to stay here with sleep problems. This hotel does not need to pay a deposit. After booking online, you can check in directly. The hotel facilities are quite complete. There is air conditioning, hot water and not cold at night. The facilities are relatively old, basically have not been renovated in more than ten years. However, 100 knives a night is still very cost-effective
LLisa MargaretThe first room we were given had strong smells from the onsite restaurant and another smell that we couldn't pinpoint unpleasant). There was a lot of condensation on the window and the room was overall very gloomy and dark (room 101). When wefedbackk to the onsite staff, without hesitatio,n they very quickly offered us an upgrade to a room that was much more pleasant, smelled fresh and was lovely and bright, at no extra cost. We really appreciated it. Breakfast was continental style and completely sufficient for our needs.
GGuest UserThe room is relatively small, but the scenery is really beautiful. The layout of the lobby and the hotel has a Chinese classical charm, a fusion of Chinese and Western, and the colors are very beautiful. Breakfast is also very healthy. You can try the afternoon tea and stay there if you have the chance.
GGuest UserThere are everything near the hotel, supermarkets, restaurants, clothing stores, selling travel supplies, more convenient, also near the subway station, if you do not have a car, preferred here, otherwise you have to break your leg to eat a meal.
GGuest UserThis is truly an amazibg stay, very close to the 3 sisters walk, i checked in late and the person at the counter was very helpful. Is cosy lodge with unlimited number of room😂.It has all the amenities needed, a balcony to view the entire mountains. It gets quite cold at night as it doesnt really have a heater. Overall amazing stay.
