The hotel room was clean and well maintained, and I was satisfied with the overall cleanliness.
However, I accidentally booked a smoking room, and the smell of cigarettes was really strong. If you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke or don’t like the smell, I would definitely recommend avoiding the smoking rooms.
As a female solo traveler, I also didn’t feel completely safe staying here. There was a room on the same floor with its door left open, and the inside looked very messy. I’m not sure what had happened there, but no one seemed to be cleaning or taking care of it, which made me feel a little uncomfortable.
Another issue was communication at the front desk. The staff member I spoke to had difficulty understanding English. Even when I tried to communicate in English, he didn’t seem to understand and continued speaking to me in Japanese, which made communication quite difficult.
Other than these points, everything else was okay and the room itself was clean.
