"Excellent Stay with Great Views and Transit Access
Location & Sightseeing: The hotel is located very close to the Metro, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. It is also just a short distance from Fisherman’s Bastion, which is perfect for sightseeing.
Budapest Public Transport: Public transport here is fantastic-honestly one of the best systems I’ve experienced, so there is no need to worry about getting around. If you get the Budapest Pass, you can travel anywhere in the city with ease.
The Hotel & Room: The property is a combined building shared between two brands: the Mercure hotel occupies the higher floors, while the ibis is on the lower floors. I stayed on the second floor of the ibis, and the view from my room was still absolutely spectacular.
Between the great location, smooth transit access, and the view, this stay was worth it."

"Convenient location, with a small supermarket just a three-minute walk away. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and the facilities were new, offering great value for money. It even had a TV with access to YouTube/Netflix. The only downside was that the shower in the ensuite bathroom (which only had a bathtub and no separate door) tended to spray water everywhere, and the shower space in the main bathroom was a bit cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful, speaking fluent English, and clearly explained all chargeable items without any misleading information. Overall, highly recommended!"

"The hotel is a wonderful experience to stay in particular if you appreciate historical flair. Definitively the spa and swimming pool is a great place to visit. It was included in our room category, but for other room rates may not include it and you need to pay for the spa and swimming pool. The personal was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful as well, however, the served coffee at the breakfast was terrible. It was not only on one day but seems to be a general feature. I wonder why this five star location does not invest in a high level coffee facility. But at least the room had a small pad coffee machine which allowed to have a good coffee! The general experience in this hotel was exceptional!"
