"This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! It's clean, tidy, has a self-service kitchen, and excellent hygiene, having been renovated a few years ago. The location is superb, right next to the central market and several large supermarkets. The front desk staff are warm and friendly, and I'm truly satisfied – it really enhanced my European trip. My daughter also loved it; there's a huge common area where she could play games without bothering anyone. When she got tired, she'd just crash on a beanbag and fall right asleep 💤. Highly recommend! Especially the six-person female dorms; they're very spacious and come with their own private toilet and shower. And the oversized key card from reception is super cute! 😄😄😄"

Whether on a family holiday or on business, feel welcome at ibis Budapest Castle Hill located only 4 metro stations away from the city center. You will be able to discover by walk the wonders of the Castle District and enjoy the vibe of the Buda Castle mixed with an abstract art of life. Let us also take you on a journey through the Chain Bridge over the Danube. Our 150 modern rooms are quiet, soundproof and air-conditioned. WiFi access is complimentary.

"Excellent Stay with Great Views and Transit Access Location & Sightseeing: The hotel is located very close to the Metro, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. It is also just a short distance from Fisherman’s Bastion, which is perfect for sightseeing. Budapest Public Transport: Public transport here is fantastic-honestly one of the best systems I’ve experienced, so there is no need to worry about getting around. If you get the Budapest Pass, you can travel anywhere in the city with ease. The Hotel & Room: The property is a combined building shared between two brands: the Mercure hotel occupies the higher floors, while the ibis is on the lower floors. I stayed on the second floor of the ibis, and the view from my room was still absolutely spectacular. Between the great location, smooth transit access, and the view, this stay was worth it."

A symbol of elegance and grandeur in the heart of the city since 1896 Corinthia Budapest offers the highest possible level of luxury and services. With its distinguished facade and carefully restored interior the hotel immediately regained its status as a focal point of elegant hospitality. Upon arrival you are greeted by a soaring central atrium that rises six floors at its base a huge decorative mosaic flows across the lobby floor echoing the art nouveau period and providing a breathtaking centrepiece. Spacious rooms and suites are a stylish places to dwell and enjoy the utmost comfort and service including the exclusive Executive Lounge. The hotel houses superb opportunities for dining including Caviar and Bull Brasserie and Atrium. It is also home to the opulent Royal Spa which like the hotel has been restored to its original splendour to offer state of the art spa facilities and treatments. Facilities include a 15-metre swimming pool several relaxation areas saunas steam baths jacuzzis a fitness room and a variety of therapeutic and massage treatments. Access to the Royal Spa is not included in the room rate of the Superior rooms only from higher room categories. The hotel allows guests under the age of 16 accompanied by an adult to use the pool and spa tub from 9 am to 3 pm only. Corinthia s detailed health and safety protocol with all measurements implemented in all our hotels is available on corinthia.com. Some of these guidelines will be highly visible in the style and form of service we offer to our guests while others are intended to address all areas of the hotel including those not visited by our guests. In all cases the health of our colleagues and guests is our number one priority and we will remain vigilant in our practices and hygiene in all our hotels following directives issued by our local authorities.

"All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel."

"Overall, a good experience. I booked this hotel last minute and, despite not sending any specific requests, I got a room with a fantastic view on the top floor. However, the front desk service was terrible. Check-in was an unpleasant experience, and their attitude was very poor – I wouldn't rule out the possibility of discrimination. The hotel's dinner was mediocre; the schnitzel and goulash soup were just okay, but the burger was quite good. I didn't have breakfast. There's also a Starbucks downstairs, which is convenient. A word of warning: avoid the restaurants in the square downstairs. They're unhygienic, and they overcharged me £33 for a single meal, probably because I'm Chinese. I was new to Budapest and hadn't quite grasped the exchange rates, so I definitely felt scammed. Very frustrating!"

"Nice modern hotel with all amenities. Great location. We enjoyed the cleanliness and noise isolation. The night was very quiet. We would definitely recommend this hotel. We choose the hotel especially for the location and because it allows pets. The pet fee is quite high. Most hotels we visit charge less, in some hotels the pet is free. But we were asked if we would like to have pet stuff put into our room (we don't know what that includes). We declined as we brought everything with us, but I guess that is nice for large dogs, as bringing their dog bed is more of a challenge."

"When I booked this hostel, there weren't many photos or reviews to go by, so I decided to write a detailed one this time, complete with lots of pictures! First off, the hostel's location is truly excellent. It's very close to both the light rail and the subway. Downstairs, there's a McDonald's and a Starbucks, and a supermarket is just a short walk away. The room layout is really cool, almost like a loft. All beds have curtains, so privacy is excellent. There's actually a kitchen right in the room! It's fully equipped with pots, pans, a microwave, a fridge, and an induction cooktop. There's one shower room and one toilet. The room offers plenty of storage space. Each bed has a standard power outlet and a night light. There are also a table and chairs in the room. While it's quite basic, it has everything you need. The color scheme always gives me a cozy, grandma's house kind of vibe. Breakfast is provided, usually from 7 AM to 11 AM. I think the timing is very flexible, so both early risers and late sleepers can enjoy it. I personally found the breakfast quite good, with tea, coffee, juice, milk, and some bread, vegetables, and hard-boiled eggs. You can store your luggage, and a €5 cash deposit is required at check-in. The bathroom has a hairdryer, and 2-in-1 shower gel/shampoo is also provided."
