The only thing that I didn't like was the size of the pool, it quite small and a bit shallow (4ft) from the usual 5ft pools, but the overall hotel service was efficient. "Comfortable & Quiet Layover Stay in Manila ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -I stayed at Yamato Hostel during a layover in Manila, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The location is very convenient, just a short drive from the airport, which made the whole transit experience much less stressful. The hostel itself has a clean, minimalist Japanese-inspired design that gives it a calm and relaxing atmosphere. After a long flight, it was the perfect place to unwind. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated how quiet the environment was—it really helped me get proper rest before my next flight. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in smooth even at odd hours. The facilities, especially the bathrooms, were spotless and felt more like a hotel than a typical hostel. One thing to note is that the area isn’t very lively, so it’s not the best spot if you’re looking to explore or go out. However, for a layover, that actually worked in my favor since I just wanted a peaceful place to recharge. Overall, Yamato Hostel is a great choice for travelers in transit—clean, quiet, and conveniently located. I’d definitely stay here again for another layover."

"We had a great 5 nights stay at GemstoneBR located at SMDC Shore 2 Residences Tower 3. The room was clean, ilove the scent of the room smells so fresh & clean and the balcony was relaxing. Very convenient to everything. Close to the airport, walking distance to the mall and lots of food options and open all night so no matter when you get hungry there are still plenty of places to eat."

"The room was spacious, and security at the entrance was strict. The bed was quite large too. Downstairs there's an **, and outside the hotel, there are supermarkets and a McDonald's nearby. It's less than a 10-minute taxi ride to the airport, which is very convenient. The beaches in the Philippines are still amazing; I've been many times and will definitely come back again."

"This is a perfect “you get what you pay for” type of accommodation if you’re traveling to Manila. I’ve stayed at these condos twice now within the last couple of years and I’ve never had any real problems. The good: The location is excellent. It really can’t get much better. There’s quite a few restaurants right below the building on the first floor and down the road within walking distance. You’re about 5-10 minutes away from terminal 3 of the airport (international terminal). It’s also very easy to get picked up by ride share services because there’s never any traffic on this street. There’s multiple guards around that stroll up and down the sidewalks so there’s a bit more safe and secure feeling. There’s also a 24 hour convenient store below. The not so good: The rooms look a lot bigger online than in person especially the studio units. I also saw a roach in the bathroom during my most recent stay. If you see one roach there’s most likely more within the building. Lastly they’re washing machines in a lot of the units but the last 2 units we stayed in the washing machines weren’t working. If the washing machines aren’t going to work then they might as well take them out because the machines are just taking up space in an already small unit where space is limited. All in all I’ll give this place 4 stars because you get what you pay for when you stay here and that’s getting harder to find these days. Am I being a little generous? Probably, but for their fairly cheap nightly rates and excellent location you really can’t beat it. Especially if you’re on a vacation and just trying to budget a little"
