"Very nice hotel, clean, bright and convenient, right on campus. Parking is $ 20, which is a bit expensive. UTK is much more beautiful than when I was studying, I like it. Cumberland Avenue in front of the hotel is wider and cleaner than before."
"Hotel seemed a bit run down and there was a bad smell in the lobby. Not many options at breakfast. Rooms were spacious though."

"Very nice hotel!! My own “complaint” is breakfast is $9.95/adult and $4.95/kid. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. We ended up eating at Waffle House next door which was cheaper for us."

GGuest UserFound the hotel due to its location on I75 and needed an overnight stop on a roadtrip. Wow, what a find! The staff are amazing- so helpful and engaging. It’s clear they are proud of their work in hospitality (rightfully so.) Whatever the management is doing, it is magic.
LLIHONGNot bad, stayed several times and overall was quite satisfied. Convenient, clean and comfortable hotel. The main thing is that the price is not too high, and business trips and tourism are acceptable.
Ccabersky aca-acThe staff was great. Loved the room. The ability to enter the hotel if you parked on the 2nd floor of the parking was a great plus. The only issue I had was the noise from the late night traffic. I would stay there again.
BBrawnerGreat location out of the hustle and bustle during a sold out Vols game. Great room. Only complaint, sleeper sofa not good mattress, really bad springs. Other than that, really great.
RRodriguezThe location is kinda in a weird spot but it’s easy to find. It’s about 15 min from downtown Knoxville. The rooms need to be updated and the pillows are small (there little squares).
The hotel is good if you need to stay for a night and just lay your head.
KKrisxx313I have been a daily customer for about a month now while i have some personal things going on. I’ve had no issues thus far and have always considered Microtel my first choice as a room especially if one is on a budget. The staff have been been here for years and are very kind. It’s a safe and conveniently located hotel, breakfast in the morning, sometimes early check in as long as you just call and ask ahead of time it’s usually fine, comfy sheets and bed, the cleaning staff does an excellent job and are very nice.
GGuest UserNot a great experience.
1) When we arrived on Friday note, there was a sign on the only ice machine on our side of the building that said it was out of order. Should have been fixed since the sige didn't look like it was at all, new.
2) We went to the machines to get a can of soda and that machine said not to use $5's. OK. Put in .50 for the $2.50 can of Pepsi. Went to put in two $1 bills but the machine wouldn't take those either. We used a credit card and paid the $2.50, but weren't aboe to get the .50 returned.
went to get a bag of jerkey treats for $5 but it wouldn't take an y of the 3 credit cards I had, even though we just used one for the soda.
3) Asked for a bar of soap and we were told there were none so we had to go to Kriger to but a bar of soap. Not everyone wants to take a bath and have the soap 4 fetet over their head in a kiquid dispenser.
4) Floors were dirty. Had to wear socks or shoes all the time. Wore white socks for an hour and the bottoms were filthy. In addition to that, there were several spots where the floors were sticky.
5) Pleasure to have the TV and when it wasn't working, notified the front desk and someone came immediately and fixed the problem. Great service.
6) Beds were extremely comfortable.
7) had the scrambled eggs for breakfast. I'm pretty sure they were powdered, but they were exeremely tastey
