The whole experience was lovely. A couple of days before our arrival, I contacted the hotel via chat, asking if they could prepare a surprise for my partner’s birthday, and they did! All staff were super friendly and helpful. I wish I could stay there longer.

The first impression it gave us was luxurious and shocking! The most expensive room type of this hotel is unique on the same beach. In addition, even if you book a normal room, you can also enjoy the beautiful public swimming pool. What doesn't match its expensive price, however, is its service. Except for the proprietress, other staff, including the hotel front desk and restaurant waiters, could not communicate in English normally, which caused a lot of inconvenience during the check-in process. Regardless of the room type, even the 4,000-night villa pool room does not have any welcome fruit, or any other value-added services or small items to give you the feeling of a "VIP". The cleaning service of the room is not timely, it is embarrassing to always clean when the guests are there! And the cleaning is relatively sloppy, the table is not wiped... In addition, the breakfast buffet is mainly bread and eggs for Westerners, but there is no cheese, no cold cuts, and even jam and yogurt only have one flavor. I saw the disappointed eyes of other foreign customers. When we asked if there was an Asian breakfast, the waiter told us: sorry, no! Well... the same breakfast for four days in a row is a bit boring, and we also had very stale bread on the last day... In terms of drinking, there is no freshly squeezed juice, but fortunately, the freshly ground coffee in the hotel is really delicious. In addition, although there is only one employee on duty at the pool bar, the cocktails he made are really good, especially the mango daiquira recommended by the boss, which tastes amazing and tastes better than the first five-star hotel on the island we went to later. . Everyone must try it. In short, we still had a wonderful holiday in the hotel. After all, when traveling, mentality is very important. It's just that every time I think about the price we paid, I feel it's not worth it...

The overall feeling is not very good. When I check-in at the store, I was told that the hotel restaurant is closed recently and breakfast cannot be provided. The solution is to give a certain amount of wine credit every day, but we said it was unacceptable. Later, we argued many times before agreeing to refund a certain amount of cash. But it was still lower than the breakfast price, and we reluctantly accepted it later. The environment is ok, but the service is unsatisfactory, parking is not very convenient, overall not recommended.

Beautiful semi-secluded resort in South Koh Lanta. Removed enough to feel secluded and quiet but close to many dining options and Koh Lanta National Park. Wonderful staff and property with a great pool and semi-private beach. Overpriced on-site dining options with a nice included breakfast.

Nice hotel and location, but not sure I would spend the money again or at least not on the room we selected. We picked an upgraded room with a hot tub on the balcony. Two things we didn’t love. First, the hot tub is not at all private. We could see right across to another similar room and vice versa. This seemed to be the same with the rooms with “private pools” as you could walk the resort and see all of them. Also, we found it a little odd the bathroom and toilet was open to the entire room so no doors or privacy there either. Breakfast included was great. No refills of mini bar except water which was surprising and different than other hotels we stayed at in Thailand.

The Nirvana beach resort is the perfect place to stay in Koh Lanta. We stayed in a room that was two stories; The top floor devoted to a wonderful bedroom and bathroom, and the downstairs with a wet bar with a full refrigerator, another bathroom, a swinging couch, and a private pool. The view from all the above was directly west facing with a sunset to die for. The service and the food at the Nevada Beach resort is excellent. Breakfast was included in our stay, and each morning we were greeted by smiling, wait staff that remembered our orders from the previous day. Each day the front desk staff arranged our activities which consisted of island hopping, snorkeling, scootering (which you can rent from the resort) and an elephant sanctuary excursion. The beach at Nirvana resort was wonderful, swimmable, and the ocean toys were super fun. The pool was awesome and the swim up bar and hanging lounge chairs were incredibly relaxing. As a person who runs their own resort property in Mexico, I can say this is an incredibly well run resort! Congratulations to the owner (who is a sweetheart) for making it through Covid and providing this incredible experience! if I ever go back to Koh Lanta, this is where I'm staying! You can't go wrong!
