The rooms are very clean and very attractively furnished. A small refrigerator is available and there is even a small clothesline on the small balcony for drying swimwear. Access to the sea is within walking distance - although it's not my favorite beach. The spacious, sunny outdoor terrace, open to all guests, invites you to have an aperitif or a coffee. In warm weather, breakfast is also served outdoors. The breakfast buffet is very varied and lovingly prepared. With fresh pastries instead of ready-made rolls you could still improve here... but really... everything else was great. We had booked half board. The food was very good and sufficient. Good wine pairing. The pre-order sushi set was really surprisingly good. Surprising because you wouldn't expect it here. Unfortunately we forgot a few items of clothing when we checked out of the hotel and we were contacted immediately and the parts forwarded to us! Thanks a lot for this!

This is our last night (of 8) here at Grand Hotel in Koper and it has been such a positive surprise. We are here because of a sailing regatta and have enjoyed every minute. The hotel is newly renovated and it more than deserves its 4 stars. The service is really special and not least the team at the front desk work around the clock to make your stay memorable. They make you feel so welcome. Location is also great and you will fall in love with the sea view from the superior rooms. Food is also great - both the daily breakfast with eggs at your choice, snacks, lunch and dinner also. We will come back. Thank you so much to allstaff@koper
