The hotel environment is really good, the rooms are not the most luxurious but they are quite spacious and comfortable. However, some ants were found. The residents paid attention to the food and put away in the refrigerator. The hotel has its own port, and it is convenient to send guests directly to the port when you return to the snorkeling with the group. The seaside leisure area next to the restaurant can be used for swimming, snorkeling and canoeing. And the scenery is super beautiful. We went before the peak of the Lunar New Year, and there were not many people, and the price was worth 4 nights including more than 7,300 in the morning. Then remember to put the card that does not change the sheets on the bed. If you do not change the new sheets, the room service staff will provide a 25% discount card, which can be used in the hotel restaurant, gift shop, spa. Super intimate and environmentally friendly, praise one. Then the hotel's meals were pretty good. In the end, Palau's seabed is truly unparalleled, with a lot of marine life and corals. It is still okay. In the city center, there are two large supermarkets next to it, countless restaurants, post offices, and shops, which are very convenient. Breakfast is not as diverse as the star hotels, but it is acceptable. There is free wifi and drinks in the lobby. The staff is very welcoming. Towels can be borrowed when going to the sea. You can walk from the surrounding attractions, go swimming in the park for about 40 minutes, the scenery is good, not too tired. In short, it can be considered.

Fabulous resort with excellent facilities and exceptional service. Our poolside room was lovely, biggest bed in the world was very comfortable, pillows a little soft for some, lovely bathroom was big and modern, the supersoft huge towels were luxurious and smelt like fresh flowers. Bottled water was supplied to our room every day, tea and coffee facilities were adequate, bathrobes and slippers supplied. We were extremely impressed by the cleanliness of our room and the entire resort. The included buffet breakfast was very good and a great way to start our day. The staff were very friendly, polite and professional, going beyond expectations to ensure our holiday was perfect. Great location close to dive shops, multiple restaurants and bars, a 30 minute easy walk to the town centre or a cheap taxi ride. We will return! Thank you to all at Cove Resort.

Looking for a resort for your wife and family to hang out in the day while you are out diving then this is not the place. Go to Cove. Looking for a resort that has a poolside bar and big western bar /restaurant /lawn /buffet then go to Cove. HOWEVER, if you want a special secret place that is 1/3 the price of Cove and a great place to sleep while you use your hotel arranged $50 /day car rental then stay here! The hotel is local and smaller so it is a great place to sleep at night with good size breakfast and plenty of free breakfast coffee. It is similar to Cruise Control Diving Center, which Leo, Shell Hotel Manager, helped me find and actually drove me to. I wish I could have given him a big tip! CrCont Diving is Japanese tailored, English speaking, Japanese traveler and Western traveler place that is larger than Sams and Fish&Fins, yet not as well know outside the Japanese tourists. It is less than half the price as the others and all the dive places use the same 500 hp boats and go to German Channel, the Big Hole and Blue Corner etc. (The three biggest sites). How did I find out about it? Leo from Shell Hotel personally took me there! Getting back to Shell, it was great. I lived the clean Balinese interior. There was no mold, no bugs on the floor and modern toilet, shower and sink that are even better than my upscale home in the USA. I have not written a review of a destination hotel before. I did this because I owed travelers this inside only special gem of a place that charges so much less and isn’t on the Google searches. I wish they would put this on Google Maps or the Apple Maps that comes with the iPhone. That way more people would know about it. Yes, they rented me a car for $50 per day including insurance. They took me to Cruise Control Diving. I hadn’t heard of them before either. I did put some pictures of Shell on this review. Again, Shell is not the place you will want to hang out at all day. It is a more local hotel that is a great place to lay your head at night. It is priced lower because it is not a resort. If you want to go to Palau and need a super clean and helpful staff, oh yes, did I say 1/3 the price of a resort :) , then this is the place to stay where you won’t feel ripped off. It is like a B&B but your own and not in someone’s house. In it’s category I highly recommend it 10/10. The staff will give you all the inside knowledge of Palau and take you to locals priced places. American hotel, simple and practical. The room is comfortable. Breakfast is relatively simple, American breakfast, and some Japanese breakfast. Coffee is available free of charge throughout the day. On the first floor there is a garden pool with a beautiful waterfall. There is also an American restaurant that sings a singer every Friday. Most of the restaurants are patrons of the United States. Overall good.

Great place to stay for the Aggressor live-aboard as the pick-up jetty is at the back of the hotel; the receptionists could not have been more helpful! They arranged for me to be collected at the airport at 2:30 AM and only charged $10 for the transport. After the live-a-board trip they checked me and 3 others in very early after the Aggressor tender drop off at 8:00 AM; what you are supposed to do from 8:00 am to Noon only God knows, fortunately the hotel checked every one in within 45 minutes of our arrival. Obviously if the hotel was full then they wouldn't be able to do that so what you would do for 4 hours I don’t know. On departure day I checked out at 12:00 noon, however, I could have stayed in the room until 1:00 PM. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and the receptionists and staff were superb.
