The interior decoration is still very exquisite. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic. It is 10 minutes away from Cuihu Park. The surrounding environment of the hotel is good, and there is also a cute kitten for business. If you want to travel, this kind of hotel is suitable for you. There are also disposable face towels and toilet seats, and parking is quite convenient, in the parking lot next to it. I will choose it again next time I come to Kunming!

One odd thing about this hotel is that it is not named Jiqing Hotel, but instead it is named EverLuck Hotel. As a result I passed by it two - three times before realizing that this was my place to stay.
Secondly, the area itself may be not pretty or elegant as it is on a small busy street full of little shops and late night barbecues surrounded by old local neighborhood buildings, but the location is excellent as it is right in the middle of all the major downtown Kunming areas to visit. As such this is why I chose it despite its 2 star status. The lower score rating is because the cleaning is not so good (the floor was dusty when I checked in) and the amenities are rather subpar, such as thin toilet paper and a need to scan a QR code to access the wifi. However the staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, it was freshened up daily, and it suited my needs.

The location is very good, very close to the Red Club Hospital, one or two hundred meters, two minutes walk. It is also very close to the animal circle, just a traffic light downstairs. The room was clean and tidy, and the water was good. The specific location of the hotel is directly opposite the Yuantongshan Zoo. The glass door next to the Lion King comes in. The location is not easy to find. Others are very good. If you can't find it, you can call the front desk. It's very talkative [rose]

The bedding is ok. It is near the residential area in the old city, so it is relatively quiet. I didn't hear the noise from the KTV upstairs. There are many small shops where local residents eat around, and there is a medium-sized supermarket downstairs. It takes 10 minutes by bike to reach Kunming Old Street and various commercial centers.
The corridor smells a bit bad, similar to the smell of stinky feet in university dormitories, and it makes me dream of returning to campus. There is a garbage station next to it, which is unfortunate.
The TV shows unauthorized when it is turned on. I don't know what it means. I tried to cast the screen for a long time but it didn't work. It's worse than Duo and Huazhu.

Very nice location in city center and in a convenient street of shops and restaurants. Subway stations not too far. Nice staff. I could do my laundry and use the nice roof top for drying. No elevator and room not big (not convenient for big luggage, floor not so clean). I recommend.

I chose many hotels online and was attracted by this inn. My children like attic rooms, so I booked one. The inn's service is very attentive. They will call in advance to confirm the arrival time and then pick us up at the intersection. The location is convenient for transportation and is very close to the old street. It is very convenient for travel. I also introduced my friends to stay here together. The two girls at the front desk were very enthusiastic during the check-in process and provided free photos in ethnic costumes. It is a very cost-effective inn and worth recommending!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent (mostly Chinese, but they also had fried eggs, bacon, fruit) and its location close to the metro is quite convenient. The only downside is that the building has 28 floors and only three elevators (including for staff), so often you can find yourself waiting a long time for one, especially in the morning, when guests are checking out or going to breakfast and staff is cleaning the rooms.

Very cool! It is a newly opened chain hotel with a full experience. Not only are the facilities complete, fashionable and concise, the linen is clean and comfortable, but the service is also first-rate. we paid a lot of money to stay here and at that price we felt it was really a bad deal. A few days later after the holiday season, the price dropped to about 1/3 of what we had paid and I guess it wouldn’t be too bad at that price point.
The main advantage of this place is that it’s right in the heart of the student area with a lot of coffee, shops, and a few restaurants. Maybe a 10 minute walk down to the lake which is not too bad also.  the bed part about the location is that solid 20 minute walk from the metro station with part of it being uphill.
one thing that we found strange about this hotel is that when you enter the lobby it’s just an elevator when you go up to the top floor to check in. Like many places, no one speaks a word of English, and they seem to even have a hard time reading the checking voucher that is provided by trip.
the breakfast was OK for a Chinese breakfast. Not the best, but not too bad. However, if you’re expecting anything like an American or European breakfast, it is fairly disappointing.
 we returned to the city a few days later, and decided to book a different hotel, rather than return to this one

DDexter50000I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel over the first week of September 2024 and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel’s stunning aesthetic design. The blend of modern elegance with unique architecture created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and welcoming.
The hotel is conveniently located next to a luxury mall with a supermarket in the basement where you can buy international groceries, pastries and fruits. Guests may also venture to other malls around the area or a night flea market that opens late into the night.
Buffet breakfast featured an extensive selection that included pastries, fresh fruits, pancakes, eggs cooked to order, and an array of dishes like congee with Yunnan spices. Food was good for a buffet spread, with staff ensuring that the buffet was well-replenished and clean.
What truly sets the hotel apart is its service. From the moment I arrived, staff was warm and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met. The front desk team was knowledgeable and eager to help. It was evident that the staff genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for their guests.
Special mentions to Mila, who helped to facilitate the courier of my daughter's medicine, which I left behind at the hotel. Mila went out of the way to made sure that the medicine reached us on time. She kept us updated throughout the process. Communication was prompt and reassuring, which alleviated our worries.
Overall, I want to thank the hotel staff for making my stay a memorable one and I look forward to my return in future.

AAnzac Travellerocation - Right next to the Jinma Biji Square but well shielded from the traffic noise. Short 5min walk across the busy Jinbi road to the Nanqiang Food Street. The location can't be beat.
Hospitality. What can I say. The staff were very helpful. There were free afternoon canapés, popcorn, coffee and the local rose petal pastry. At night, porridge was brought to our room for supper. Breakfast sets needed to be preordered the evening before. Mainly local selection, except for one western offering. When we returned after a day's out, there was a bucket in the room ready to soak your tied legs in. Very localised service. Kudos!
Room. The room was modern and well maintained. Very comfortable beds and good working air conditioning. Only downside was there was no view. Our room looked across a narrow alleyway to the next building. But not really an issue for us as sound proofing was quite good.
We really enjoyed staying here. Can't recommend it enough.

Pplushparadisecomfortable stay for a night stop over before an early flight the next day, it was a comfortable stay. the sheets were nice and soft. the toilet and showers are built such that they are individual cubicles, so the shower cubical doesn’t have any where to hang clothes/ towels, etc. all amenities provided, and there’s a laundry room with washer dryer to get your laundry sorted before continuing your trip.
shuttle bus to airport was 5am for a 7.40am flight, where it’s a “car pool” system, must book at time of check in.
night supper is a bowl of mien xian, basic. it’s a warm bowl to keep you going. there are no food options around outside of the building.

Hotel is located within walking distance to pedestrian streets and shopping malls. Breakfasts are mainly local Yunnan dishes that you have to pre-select for the next morning or as and when you check-in, limited selection though.

GGuest UserWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

but the reception morning shift staff is one of excellent, very patient, very helpful with professional. her name is Ms Zhang Fang Ying. One of the excellent staff, help me to sort out my trouble, very calm and very professional. this staff safe this hotel's reputation, but most staff are a bit ignorant. only one staff in the evening shift with Glass waring Satff a bit helpful.

SSUMINWe are from Lijiang and are going back to Thailand. Stop over at Khun Ming for 1 night, choose a hotel near the walking street, surrounded by shopping areas. Coming to the hotel is easy, you can take the subway from the high-speed rail station, Line 2, Kunming Subway Station, pass 3 stations, change to Line 3 at Dongfeng Square Station, then continue 1 more station, get off at Wuyi Station. Exit this station and find a shopping area. Walk 2-300 meters to the hotel.
There are 2 medium-sized bedrooms, and the bathroom shares a door. It's quite stiff and doesn't move very well.
If you don't think too much about the quality of the room Selecting a location first is still acceptable.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, right in the city center, not far from Nanping Pedestrian Street and Cuihu Park, which is very convenient for my travel. The boss's service attitude is also very good, kind and gentle to others. Great! The bed is also very comfortable to sleep on, and the decoration style is also the type I like. There is a North Railway Station next to it, and there are three subways, which is convenient to go anywhere. I will come to this hotel next time.
