This guesthouse has a superb location right within the scenic area. The owner is incredibly welcoming and a fantastic cook – I highly recommend her salmon and fried beef jerky! Our entire stay was delightful. As soon as we got out of the car, she helped us with our luggage and guided us all the way to our rooms. We booked two rooms, and we loved both of them. They were well-equipped, and outside the window, there was a beautiful, large, and meticulously maintained courtyard.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the view outside the window was beautiful! The food at the guesthouse was incredibly delicious, we cleared every plate. The hostess was wonderful; she even specially prepared congee and pancakes for us for breakfast, which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend!

I was touring the Red Earth region, so I only stayed in the village for one night. To be honest, don't set your expectations too high; the conditions here are indeed a bit rustic. The room view is quite good, but the guesthouse itself is more like a 'farm stay,' and the amenities aren't great. However, I can understand that, as this isn't a developed area. The hot water for showering in the evening was very slow to come on. But the two dishes I ordered at the guesthouse were really worth it, especially the baby bok choy – it was so tender, fresh, and delicious. Breakfast was noodles prepared by the owner, and they were also very tasty! The owner's service was very warm and friendly. It's just that the village is a bit underdeveloped, so it's good to be prepared for that before you come.

Family trip to an off-the-beaten-path destination. This B&B was really great! The hostess was very down-to-earth, and the room was super clean with a lovely view from the window. We had lunch and dinner there, both made with their homegrown vegetables and free-range chicken – very reasonably priced. We even bought some local sun-dried wild mushrooms when we left. A fantastic experience overall! 👍

The owner was incredibly welcoming, coming out to greet us and help with our luggage. The moment we opened the room door, we were captivated by the sunny cabin. The cool highland breeze rustled the white curtains, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere, and the view outside the window was simply breathtaking. For dinner, the owner personally cooked local specialties, and the red earth-style lamb and potatoes were absolutely delicious! 😋

I was absolutely amazed by this stay! The value for money is incredible. The guesthouse facilities are comparable to a five-star hotel, with high-quality bedding, and even the small appliances feel premium. It completely exceeded my expectations! ✨ The cleanliness deserves a special mention – the room was spotless, the bathroom glass was sparkling clean, and the bedding smelled like sunshine. As someone with germophobia, I was extremely comfortable! 🧼 The location is fantastic! It's right in the heart of the scenic area, making everything convenient. Yet, it's very quiet at night, perfectly balancing convenience and tranquility. 🗺️ The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, and what surprised me most was their excellent taste! To find such a guesthouse in the mountains was truly unexpected 🌿. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant, and the food is absolutely delicious [strong emoji]. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and it will definitely be my top choice next time I visit! 💯

The hotel is nice and clean. Very good location for visiting Dongchuan red land. The owner is very friendly lady. She even upgraded us with room. All the rooms are spacious. They made delicious dinner

The rooms have a great design aesthetic. We had two lunches, one breakfast, and one dinner, and every meal was delicious, especially the stir-fried crispy pork (you lin gan ba), the various potato dishes, and the clear beef broth. Absolutely scrumptious!

The location was convenient and the rooms were clean.  The lady boss was friendly, warm and welcoming.  Her cooking skill is super, providing us with delicious charcoal cook chicken... wooooo.... yummy yummy 

The B&B has a great location right in the heart of the scenic area, and it's convenient for self-driving with easy parking. The rooms are clean, and the landlady is very welcoming! You can also dine at the B&B, and the ingredients are fresh!

Considering it's a guesthouse, the conditions were pretty good, especially since the village has limited resources. The path from the front desk to our room was a bit winding, with turns and stairs, so if you have a bad memory, it's easy to get lost. During Chinese New Year, the staff were on holiday, so the owner's wife was juggling both front desk duties and cooking in the kitchen – she was incredibly busy. On the first day, the rice was too hard, but the dishes themselves were good. Later, we asked for chicken soup (as there were many seniors in our group who needed soft food), and the chicken soup was excellent. The chicken was incredibly tender, and we had noodles with the chicken broth for two meals. The room had air conditioning and an electric blanket, and the bathroom had a heater. However, it was exceptionally cold on the day we stayed. Even with everything on, the large room still wasn't warm enough, and three of us fell ill from the cold. So, if you're going to Yunnan, always be wary of sudden temperature drops.

Location is okay: close to some viewpoints but there's not many services nearby. Food in the hotel is decent. Need some basic features like curtain for the bathroom window.

This is actually a guesthouse, not a hotel. It's located at the crossroads of the three red earth scenic routes, which makes it super convenient for exploring all directions. The owner is really friendly and helpful. For a guesthouse, the room decor and furnishings are very practical and well-designed. The bathroom also has a separate wet and dry area. The breakfast, consisting of egg noodles and steamed buns, was pretty good. Parking is convenient too, just across the road in the parking lot.
