Ibis Hotels in Kunming

You need to contact the hotel in order to take the free shuttle from airport to hotel. The process was okay and we got picked up promptly. Location was about 20 minutes bus ride from airport. Checkin was fast. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We booked the early transport to the airport the following day and the ride was smooth. There were some restaurants and a big supermarket nearby. Other than that, dont expect too much from the area. Overall, i have a pleasant stay.

I had a great stay at the Ibis Kunming South Railway Station Hotel. The location is fantastic, near the South Railway Station and a lively night market. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, even using translation apps to assist us. The check-in was quick, and food delivery to the room was convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, comfort, and excellent service.

Chose the hotel because of proximity to subway stations and price. Reasonable for s short stay because the hotel is situated by the main road so noise can be an issue. Did not hear any noise from the construction activities but the allowable period seems very long. The staff at the reception might had a bad day. She sounded angry but managed to perform the check-in and answer questions. The rest of the staff were so much better. Room is reasonable and clean.
