The hotel is right opposite the Kyoto station and bus terminal, so it’s really convenient. Guests can choose two additional amenities daily (from bath salt to hair wax to collagen masks to small bath towel etc) that’s on top of the room amenities (toothbrush, cotton bud, comb, razor, usual shampoo conditioner and bath gel, hair dryer, cups, safety box, fridge, in room slippers, lots of towels). The sink and bath tub shares the same tap so be prepared to splash a little during shower. The room has a small round table that’s a little hard to use a laptop on, paper towel provided can be better quality. Bath robe provided is really comfortable, bed is nice and soft and lots of pillows are provided. Hotel has laundry room (separate washer and dryer), vending machine, ice machine, microwave, waiting area near level 2 reception and level 1 restaurant/cafe that’s usually packed.

Excellent location! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Laundry machine available in the hotel. Several healthcare accessories for free including bath salt!

Number 1 thing which doesn’t make sense is no coffee in the room. How can that be!?? All over the world, coffee in the room is the most basic thing. Second thing which is most annoying is the faucet in the bathroom. The tap is outside the bath tub so when I’m in the shower I need to stick my arm out to switch on and off the tap. It gets very annoying after 3 straight nights. Otherwise everything else of this hotel is great. The tea station on the reception floor is great. Delicious cold Sencha and green tea!

The location was good as opposite Kyoto Station otherwise average rooms. No coffee in rooms only tea but that could be as they have a coffee shop on ground floor, laundry room has only 2 washers and dryers so lucky if you'll find these available.

We love the location and service. The bathroom is cramp. Overall we will choose this hotel for next visit.

Located just accross the street from Kyoto Station and right next to the Kyoto Tower as well. The room had plenty of space to go around even with the carry-on luggage open on the floor, but there was no view to be had nor natural light. Window was for emergency use. Not much restaurant options: a breakfast & coffee shop-5% discount for eating in- and a izakaya like dining. They try to give suggestions around the place. No smoking facility in house but smoking spot within 2min walk.

Location n services was good. Unfortunately, the bed wasn’t clean, there’s bed bugs.

Warm n cosy hotel

It’s my 2nd time staying at this hotel. Great location, just 5 mins walk from Kyoto station. Kyoto Tower is just next door and there are a lot of food options nearby. It’s an old hotel but well maintained. I booked a double beds room which is big for JP standards. Beds are comfortable and cleanliness is great. There are washing machine and dryer at level 4. They don’t provide bottle water but you can get water refilled at level 2 for free. Overall very satisfied with the hotel. Just that the ceiling of the shower room is quite low whereby a short person like me 153cm, can easily touch the ceiling while standing in the bathtub. I will definitely stay again next time.

Ok Very convenient

The location is excellent, very convenient to go everywhere. The breakfast toast 🍞 in the cafe downstairs melts the tongue, and the fried noodles, salads, kebabs, and lemon cava in the restaurant downstairs are also well used and delicious. Remember to mention that you are a hotel guest to get a discount!

I booked a twin room. The room is quite large, much larger than a single room. It is also hygienic. The key is convenience. Just cross the road from the JR central entrance and walk a little to the left. There is a service desk on the second floor where you can store your luggage. , there is Ogawa Coffee downstairs, and there is a famous Matcha shop next to it. Take bus No. 206 to Kiyomizudera Temple, and take the JR Nara Line for two stops to Fushimi Inadaisha Shrine. It is convenient. Behind the hotel is Yodobashi's Kyoto store.
