Yashshree Lachung

The hotel is comfortable for the place where it is located ; running a hotel in Lachung is not easy at all ; clean rooms , clean towels , prompt service and buffet is very good ; make good rotis , idlis , momos , etc. Staff is polite and accommodates. Rajiv was good.

Yashshree Lachung made our visit even better with their hospitality. Rohit and Mauricia at front desk are awesome. Best location to visit all tourist attractions.

This hotel claims to be 3/4 star but it's nothing close to even 2 star. Our bathroom was stinking so bad that we had to use another family members batroom. If you take a shower the entire bathroom gets wet as there is no shower partition, not even a curtain. 5 of 6 people fell sick after having their food. They charge like 5 star for what is really 2 star quality. Not worth paying more than 3-4k per room & they charge 3 times that. We felt like we were ripped off. Only positive is that the views are great.

Yashshree Lachung is one of the very few hotel options available in Lachung. The city is small and people usually spend 2 nights in Lachung to cover the tourist spots. We spent 3 nights in Yashshree. Its an average hotel with food which is either a miss or hit. Feb 2024 was very cold and we had booked a suite . No room have AC. For the cold, they give a small heater for the room which may not be enough for a big room so you can try asking for a second one. Bed heater is also provided which the ***agement suggests that you turn off before dozing off. The washbasin and tap/shower is equipped with running hot water. The reception staff is extremely good. Special call out to Passang, female staff member who was very cordial and helped me change my room because we were not comfortable in the one we had booked. We usually ordered in room service and the kitchen staff will usually forget to send if you ask for anything specific. One evening we ordered Khichadi and they forgot to send pickles despite mentioning. Another evening we ordered spring rolls and they forgot to send sauce despite mentioning. But other than these minor ******* the hotel is a good place to spend your night in Lachung.

It is a new property and very beautifully built, we stayed in a family room with kids, room was spacious. Food was also delicious. The view from the room was also good. Breakfast had sufficient options to choose from. I must say it is very good property to stay with in such a remote place.
