The hotel is located not far from St. Joseph's Church, visible from the entrance, within a 10-minute walk. The street in front of the hotel is the main street of the area, lined with restaurants, supermarkets, and markets, making it very convenient. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to the subway station; a subway ride to the Old Town takes about half an hour, and a taxi costs around 20 Canadian dollars. I booked a superior suite, which was basically a one-bedroom apartment. The room's renovation was probably only two years old; although the materials were simple, it was relatively new and clean, and fully equipped, even with pots and pans. We were assigned a room on the back street, and the bedroom was inside, so it was completely quiet. Most importantly, the price was excellent, offering exceptional value. Oh, and if you like desserts, don't miss the tiramisu at the bakery across from the hotel.

Samesun Montreal is hands-down my go-to hostel in the city. Every stay has been consistently great — welcoming staff, a fun atmosphere, and a layout that makes it easy to meet other travelers. Our view from the room was unparalleled with stunning views of the city from the 10th floor. The room is simple but clean and is equipped with everything that you might need for a short stay. Even has a microwave cooker and a sizeable fridge.

The beds were comfortable, soft and clean.

I like the place, always stay there when I am in Montreal Everything went well.
