GGuest UserThe experience was excellent, good breakfast and for me I can safe much money because I stayed in city centre and also they provide fruits, coffee and tea as a complementary. Common room is so comfy, play piano and guitar and fast wifi too! It’s so nice for travelers!

EeslamyCouldn’t recommend this place enough! The private was better than most hotels and the dorms looked great too! Fab kitchen, very helpful staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend walking to the Latin quarter for the live music at the kings head pub!

GGuest UserLong established Hotel in the Galway Salthill seaside resort, great for a winter break looking out at the howling Atlantic, plenty of good walks, and Galway city centre a decent walk or bus away, though you'll walk it faster than the bus when the afternoon traffic ramps up. Hotel food very good, the Pier 56 restaurant food was quality. There's also a higher end menu in the main restaurant, and even tasty bar bites in old pub styled bar. Rooms are large, plain and functional, with robust heavy duty old school hotel furniture, plain painted walls. A lot of the public areas are upgraded from previous decades, the main restaurant, bar and the bistro stylishly upgraded. Room bathrooms all up to the minute. Good value for a low season stay in November. Can't fault it.

HHilary MLovely poison by Spanish Arch and Galway west end. Room was spacious and clean breakfast had a good variety including continental and fresh fruit. Staff were polite. Overall a good stay.

The hotel's location is ideal—just a short walk from Eyre Square and the city centre, making it convenient for exploring local attractions and dining options. The room was spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. The bed was particularly comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa and leisure facilities. The indoor pool and thermal suite offered a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of hot and cold items. However, I felt that the variety could be improved to cater to different dietary preferences. Overall, The Galmont Hotel & Spa offers a comfortable stay with excellent amenities. I would recommend it to travellers seeking a convenient and relaxing hotel experience in Galway.

JJames BenjaminVery convenient location - just a minute or two walk from the train station. Room was clean, facilities were reasonable for the price. The issue we did have though was not receiving any check-in details prior to arriving in the evening. While trying to check in, a few groups managed to check in - having received earlier that day an email from the accommodation. For whatever reason, we didn't get ours. After a number of messages/calls and seeking assistance from the hotel across the road, we managed to finally receive comms from the accommodation in order to gain entry. While the individual from Madison House was adamant they sent the email, they weren't able to provide proof of this upon request...
