GGuest UserGreat place to stay. I was lucky with neighbours and with earplugs didn't hear anything. People start moving from 8-9 am, so it's not a place for late birds. Enough toilets, showers, space. I stayed there for a night and then booked another one. I would stay even longer, but they didn't have rooms. Everything is clean and good looking. Very nice place. I will stay there again if I'm in Shizuoka.

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at Garden Hotel Shizuoka. The location is excellent, with easy access to Shizuoka Station, shopping areas, and plenty of nearby restaurants, which made getting around very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth but one thing that surprised and slightly confused me at first was that the front desk is located on the highest floor rather than the main floor, which is quite uncommon, but it was easy to find once I realized

GGuest UserStayed two night at this lovely hotel. Staff at the reception were really patient and warm during check in and checkout. On my first night during check in, the lady was exceptionally helpful and patient with my queries, and helped me with the process of takkubin! My room has a panoramic view of the city with Mt Fuji at the background! Bed was comfortable.Breakfast spread was great and not crowded.

GGuest UserThe check in experience was smooth. Counter staff were friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful, which left an excellent first impression of the place. The room was comfortable, with a good amount of space for 2 people. Loved the fridge and daily Mt Fuji water top up, and the Shizuoka green tea we can brew to wind down after a long day. Amenities were just as we needed. Makes for light travel for those who don’t want to carry cumbersome amounts of skincare and self-care products. Bonus that the bath tub was clean and perfect for a soak, which they also provided the bath salts for. Breakfast, with slight variety between days, had a good spread of local dishes, and was definitely sufficient for us to have a good start to the day. Overall, we had a great experience with Shizutetsu Prezio, and I’ll definitely come back again next time!

MMaki DinhI stayed here for two nights, and the hotel has a very convenient location. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to Shizuoka Station, less than 20 minutes to Sunpujo Park, and around 10 minutes to the Shizuoka Prefectural Office. Convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Ministop are also just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel has useful facilities, including a coin laundry and an ice maker on the second floor. Breakfast is available, although I didn’t choose the breakfast option when booking. Soundproofing is quite good. I slept well and didn’t hear noise from nearby rooms. Overall, the staff were helpful and professional. Considering the price, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel. Photos from the window of my room.

GGuest UserYou were so kind. The cafe on the 1st floor is also cozy and delicious, especially the breakfast. They explained everything in English, and I was able to comfortably stay and eat food in the guest lounge. There are many things to do around, and there are pretty villages if you walk a little further.

GGuest UserFree unlimited alcohol at bar after 6 pm is totally beyond expectation. Room is quite big, with large size bathtub and separated toilet. Very quiet from my experience. The room I stayed does not have a window, not sure if it’s the common case. But I’m ok with that. The location should be considered as the major concern. It’s right beside the interchange of highway, so can be ideal for self-driving trips. However, for travelers by public transportation, you’ll have to use the local bus service, it can take quite a while to figure out how.(For anyone who may read this comment: if you depart from Shizuoka JR station, look for bus No.71 or No.27, and get off at Shizuoka IC stop , which is the closest stop from hotel) Generally I do enjoy the stay, and the nearby region has a lot of restaurants as well as convenient stores, will consider to come back if drive by next time.
