Kanazawa Meitetsu M'za Hotels
The Holiday Inn ANA Kanazawa Sky is located in the heart of Kanazawa City. Kanazawa is a city steeped in Japanese tradition, known for its textile industry, including “Yuzen” dyeing and gold leaf craftsmanship. Right in front of the hotel lies the bustling Omi-cho Market, a fresh produce market that has been beloved by locals and tourists alike since the 16th century. Discovering seasonal local ingredients here is a special delight. The Hokuriku region is blessed with an abundance of seafood throughout the year. Kanazawa Castle Park (originally built and maintained by the Maeda family) and Kenroku-en Garden, both within walking distance of the hotel, are treasures cherished by the citizens of Kanazawa. Kenroku-en Garden, one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens, offers a breathtaking display of beauty that changes with the seasons. After a fulfilling day, please relax in the hotel’s lobby lounge while enjoying Kanazawa’s finest 360-degree panoramic view.

The hotel is well located: 15 min wall from the station, 10 from local district and historical place, just in front of the most famous market and along one of the most posh streets. A nice mall is just next to it if you need anything. The reception and restaurant are at the 16th floor and offer a great view. Rooms are correct, lathe not the modernest style but fine enough (I booked a single room). The personnel extremely gentle and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Located just next to the Omi-cho Market, called the “kitchen of the city,” is SOKI KANAZAWA. Situated in Fukuromachi, this was a place once flourishing with merchants constantly coming and going. Unwind just as you prefer in the large public bath and enjoy a pleasant night’s sleep in your room. Enjoy a nourishing, relaxing breakfast made with nothing but fresh, local ingredients. In Kanazawa, where Kitamae ships have come and gone since long ago, while bringing along many diverse cultures, make use of all of your senses to experience the allure of each season. Enjoy a stay that will harmonize your mind and body. Let time pass on a spontaneous journey to regain your true self as you surrender yourself to the seasons and nature’s surroundings. <For guests with children> One child under 12 years old sleeps free per bed. *No extra beds are available. *Breakfast is not included for children who sleep with their parents. If you wish to use this service, please contact the hotel directly.

We booked a night here last minute due to its central location, but it far surpassed our expectations in terms of design, service, and amenities. Although I didn’t use the public bath facilities as I was recovering from a cold, our King corner suite was spacious and featured a relaxing bath and complimentary mint tea—perfect for unwinding. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and having an on-site laundry was a convenient bonus.

The exterior features latticework inspired by kimusuko (traditional wooden insect cages). Inside, the hotel offers a relaxing space with a Japanese-style design theme. All floors throughout the building are covered with tatami mats. Please remove your shoes and relax comfortably barefoot.

It’s easy to find. From Kanazawa Station hop on a bus at Bay 10 the alight at the 2nd stop at Ohmicho Market then cross the street, walk for a minute or two. There’s a nearby Starbucks, Lawson and 7/11. About 12 minutes walk to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. Rooms are clean and I like it that they offer free skincare at the restrooms. I mean ladies are vain, it’s a good thing they pay attention to that. The staff are nice. It’s a capsule accommodation. They keep everything clean. So you don’t have to worry after an exhausting day, you’ll be welcome by a clean bed. A good tip, get the Kanazawa Loop Bus for only 800yen. You can hop the bus to go around Kanazawa Tourist. A value for money since the fare is about 210 yen just 1 way. The IC card don’t work on buses in Kanazawa. Either you pay in cash or credit cards

AAylwin Au⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Stay at Shed Hotel Shed Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. We arrived at Shenzhen Airport around 2:00 pm and were pleased to find that the hotel provides shuttle pickup, which made our arrival very smooth and convenient. We stayed for one night, booking 3 rooms for 6 people. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, very helpful, and proactive in assisting us with our needs. The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The beds were especially good, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Shed Hotel to anyone visiting Shenzhen. Definitely a 5-star stay.

GGuest UserUpon arrival, the sofa bed was already set up, making the room feel very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, range hood, dishwasher, dish soap, and dishcloths – everything you could need. The toilet was separate from the washroom and shower. The shower had great water pressure. I didn't notice any skincare amenities provided in the room, but pajamas, toothbrushes, and razors were available for guests to pick up in the lobby. The lobby featured a spacious lounge and reading area, along with a drink vending machine. Downstairs and a right turn led directly to a food mall. Across a small street, to the left were a hair salon and an excellent seafood restaurant, while to the right was Hyakubangai shopping street. The front desk staff, who I believe was from Southeast Asia, could communicate well in English and had a pleasant demeanor. On a side note, here are some Kanazawa sightseeing recommendations. My child's top pick was Myoryuji Temple. It was reportedly built by the local lord as a covert defense against the central government, featuring many ingenious (though perhaps not very sturdy) hidden mechanisms. Many temples in that area were supposedly established for similar strategic purposes. My personal favorite was Nagamachi, near the Buke Yashiki (Samurai District). It's an area concentrated with former samurai residences – imagine a beautiful Japanese version of a historic mansion district like the Yuyuan Road or Huashan Hospital area in Shanghai. Scattered nearby are art shops, small museums detailing local history, and craft galleries. It’s quite fascinating to explore and learn about Kanazawa's past. There's also a small alley, possibly only open in the evenings, with yakitori izakayas called 'Hashi-something' (Bridge-something)? Higashi Chaya District, on the other hand, felt a bit like a 'tourist street' – the kind you find in many cities, whether genuinely old or a recreation – with somewhat homogenous merchandise. Still, it's very picturesque for photos. The Asano River itself was just like any small river in a Japanese provincial town, with scenery not quite comparable to the impressive urban riverfronts back home in China.

BBell95Hotel is so great I will definitely come back to Kanazawa one day and stay here. The room is spacious enough for 3 of us. They provided every amenities we needed including ironing equipment. We can dry our clothes in the bathroom. Staff are very friendly even though my Japanese skills are so bad. We were a bit unlucky due to the weather, there was hailing when we were there but other that it's all good. Most importantly, the hotel is right next to the Kanazawa station and ease us on our movement around. Thank you for the great service I will definitely come back.

AAnonymous UserStayed here for 4 nights to visit Kanazawa, Fukui and Toyama. Room is small but sufficient for 2 people. The toilet seems newly fabricated/ installed so it feels newer than the room. The room is stuffy in the winter because theres only a slow wind/ hot room option for the AC. There are microwave ovens, drinks vending & ice machines located on various floors. Even though the hotel is located near the JR Kanazawa station, it is very quiet at night. My favourite part about the hotel is the proximity to Kanazawa station, just 7 mins walk! Perfect for those using the Shinkansen. Opposite the hotel (1mins) is Forus & 100bangi mall with many shopping, eating & omiyage choices there. Omicho market is about 20mins walk, perfect for a fresh bowl of kaisendon!

NNiaoshuerdai(shaoguitangzhu)The room was spacious and the memory foam pillows were comfortable. However, the part of the room near the headboard felt a bit cold, so I had to turn up the air conditioning. There was no complimentary bottled water, but luckily there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. It's very close to the JR station, with tons of shops and restaurants to choose from.

GGuest UserThis place is just a 5-6 minute walk to Kanazawa jr station and the bus terminal. The location is fantastic. There is all the amenities you need like coin laundry, and ice machine. The staff are wonderful and helped me to correctly fill out the forms to mail a package to my teacher staying in japan. This is my second stay with the hotel franchise in kanazawa- i stayed in their other hotel more in the town centre previously. They both smelled amazing. I don’t know what they use, but they have a specific scent that they make for their hotels. Apparently Kanazawa also has a tradition of incense and so they’ve incorporated a signature scent based on it. I wish I could buy it tbh- so Koko staff- if you see this, please make it an item you sell! The rooms are a good size, for Japan, and the bathtub in the room is MASSIVE. Sadly I dont have photos as I forgot to take them. They have a lovely outdoor on the top floor as well, where you can sip a drink and enjoy the view which i do have photos of.

WWoailvxingdianyingyinyueyueduStayed at Kanazawa Blue Time Youth Hostel for six consecutive nights. After arriving at Komatsu Airport, it costs 1300 yen to take the airport bus directly to Kanazawa Station. From the Gumen of the Kanazawa Station sign, walk about 150m to the building where the Youth Hostel is located. The Youth Hostel is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator here. It is not convenient to carry large boxes. The location of the Youth Hostel is very convenient. It is a 3-minute walk to Kanazawa Station. There are various dining and supermarkets in the station. You can walk to the sightseeing areas such as Jinjiang Market, Kenliuyuan, Kanazawa City, 21st Century Art Museum, Dongchawu Street and other sightseeing areas. You can also buy a 1-day bus ticket to visit Kanazawa in the Kanazawa Station sightseeing case. I stayed in a girls' bed room. The area needs to enter the password. The privacy is very good. There are seven girls' beds. There is a toilet and a shower room for girls. It is clean and comfortable. There is a facial cleanser shower gel conditioner hair dryer. The bed is very spacious, not the bunk bed but the single floor, the space is quite large, there is a locker with a password in the bed, there are slippers, a clean bath towel is provided every day during the stay, and the free network signal is stable. There is also a special tea room in the girls area with a water heater microwave oven. Note that toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided here. Shower room is small and can feel cramped and crowded for tall people. The only problem for me is that the mattress is too soft and I am not very comfortable with it myself. The public space of the Youth Hostel provides free coffee and tea, and the mixed dormitory area also has a shower room washing area washing machine dryer, which is more complete. This is a good affordable place to stay when traveling alone in Kanazawa, and I have a pleasant time here. Kanazawa is a clean, beautiful, quaint and charming city, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit again.
