Hotels near Ofuro Cafe Bijinyu, Shizuoka City

We stayed here one night and it definitely exceeded expectations. Excellent location, a very good breakfast and nice onsen facilities. The room is pretty basic but good.

Seeing the spectacle view of Fuji Mountain was such a nice experience. The hotel provided bath salts and all necessities in the room. The receptionist was very helpful. We enjoyed a perfect moment in the restaurants of the hotel. The Japanese restaurant Fukkian was especially nice for the free breakfast included! Worth a try!

I had a very pleasant stay at Garden Hotel Shizuoka. The location is excellent, with easy access to Shizuoka Station, shopping areas, and plenty of nearby restaurants, which made getting around very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth but one thing that surprised and slightly confused me at first was that the front desk is located on the highest floor rather than the main floor, which is quite uncommon, but it was easy to find once I realized

Excellent location with a surprisingly good view of Mount Fuji. Room small but has all the necessary facilities with lashings of hot water and a smartly designed plumbing system. Very close to Shimizu station and the Fish Market. The Maruko Land, Dream Plaza Complex is a pleasant 15 minute walk away.

The check in experience was smooth. Counter staff were friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful, which left an excellent first impression of the place. The room was comfortable, with a good amount of space for 2 people. Loved the fridge and daily Mt Fuji water top up, and the Shizuoka green tea we can brew to wind down after a long day. Amenities were just as we needed. Makes for light travel for those who don’t want to carry cumbersome amounts of skincare and self-care products. Bonus that the bath tub was clean and perfect for a soak, which they also provided the bath salts for. Breakfast, with slight variety between days, had a good spread of local dishes, and was definitely sufficient for us to have a good start to the day. Overall, we had a great experience with Shizutetsu Prezio, and I’ll definitely come back again next time!

I stayed at the hotel with my wife as a stop between Nagoya and Atami. We chose the hotel due to its very close proximity to the train station. We found the hotel room very clean and recently renovated. The utilities, including lighting and water supply, were good. The breakfast was acceptable though we needed to queue for a while. The services offered were indeed good since we managed to retrieve some left fruits in the refrigerator through the help of hotel staff after we have checked out.

You were so kind. The cafe on the 1st floor is also cozy and delicious, especially the breakfast. They explained everything in English, and I was able to comfortably stay and eat food in the guest lounge. There are many things to do around, and there are pretty villages if you walk a little further.

Free unlimited alcohol at bar after 6 pm is totally beyond expectation. Room is quite big, with large size bathtub and separated toilet. Very quiet from my experience. The room I stayed does not have a window, not sure if it’s the common case. But I’m ok with that. The location should be considered as the major concern. It’s right beside the interchange of highway, so can be ideal for self-driving trips. However, for travelers by public transportation, you’ll have to use the local bus service, it can take quite a while to figure out how.(For anyone who may read this comment: if you depart from Shizuoka JR station, look for bus No.71 or No.27, and get off at Shizuoka IC stop , which is the closest stop from hotel) Generally I do enjoy the stay, and the nearby region has a lot of restaurants as well as convenient stores, will consider to come back if drive by next time.
